Good service, good food. We ate Turkish themed dishes and found them excellent. Friendly and attentive service. Music was too loud and inappropriate, room was too dark.
Great service & delicious food. We both had steaks and they were perfectly cooked. My only criticism was it was quite dark where our table was so would ask for a different table next time! Will definitely recommend & go back soon!
First time here after it changed from Green’s, that was there before. Absolutely delicious meal. My husband had the roast burger which was SO good, a different take on a traditional burger. My children had an adult cheeseburger between them, I had a taste and it was one of the best burgers I’d tasted in a while! I had the sea bass which was delicious. We had the Jaffa bomb for dessert, it was fantastic the way the caramel melted the chocolate. They have decorated it really nicely. Friendly, helpful staff.
lovely restaurant, great cocktails and high class atmosphere. Very attentive staff and great presentation of food. Decor is gorgeous. I'd say this place is ideal for date night
Great food, excellent variation on the menu, catering for all taste, the different menus for the times of the day are excellent, a great refurbishment and a well laid out garden area for better days
Overall experience was great. Staff very attentive and friendly. Ambiance good. Food lovely - only slight complaint was we waited quite a long time for our main course - but when it arrived it was great. Will come again and would recommend to others. 😃
good menu & wine list, great food & service! I had the scallops to start & my husband the king prawns, both delicious! The seabass & steak was also so tasty, lovely South African Chenin Blanc too!
I have been visiting 52 The High St for the past six years and this is the third restaurant to occupy the building. It is worth a visit just to admire the newly enlarged and refurbished building that no longer looks like a pub. I was apprehensive if the food would live up to its surroundings, especially since the previous two restaurants had set a high standard. So far the family have only sampled a small amount of the menu, the burgers and Turkish dishes were of a high standard as was the starters and house trimmings. My only small complaint is that on my first visit the Sea Bass was server with too much potato and not enough vegetable.
