About Meze

Meze is one of the world’s most revered styles of eating, so it’s no wonder that Eastbourne Restaurant Meze chose it as its namesake. As you would expect, this city centre restaurant specialises in meze, which are small plates of hot or cold dishes that are typically shared and accompanied by warm, fresh bread. You’ll also find a main menu though, for those with a heartier appetite, brimming with succulent meats from the charcoal grill, fresh fish and veggie options to boot. Located on Pevensey Road, at the intersection of Susan’s Road, this Turkish haven is not to be missed. Be sure to book ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

Fantastic food, properly cooked, nice atmosphere, staff were super attentive and very accommodating. My friends were very impressed and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Salads were lush, meat tender and very flavoursome. Can't wait to go again!

We went there for Iftar (breaking our fast) and we travelled down from NW Kent. Excellent service, great staff, very accommodating and the food was absolutely top notch! They made sure we were well looked after and even made sure we had dates and water to break our fast with! Can't recommend this place enough.

Meze has really excellent friendly service and delicious traditional Turkish food. We've been here many times and it is consistently high standard of both food and service. I would highly recommended this restaurant for a really good lunch or evening meal.

Some of the best food I've ever had in a restaurant. The food is prepared on an open fire in front of you which makes things tastier before you even eat them! This was my second time going and I will definitely be going back for a third in the future.

We had a lovely meal. The staff were very friendly and looked after us without making us feeling hounded! It was a great evening, good food that was authentic and great service. Great to see your food being cooked fresh in front of you at the restaurant!

Amazing food that you can watch bring prepared and cooked. The atmosphere is nice, the waiter was very personable and friendly. Some dishes are more for your money than others but you can’t go wrong with anything from the grill.
