Service was abit slow but the food was worth waiting for

First visit to Mezze Ocakbasi. Visits to other mezze restaurants had not been memorable so had not bothered to try this one, assuming the food was going to be just as bland and forgettable as I had sampled before. How wrong I was! The food was delicious. Generous portions (almost too generous for lunchtime) well presented and well seasoned. Will definitely be going back and taking my husband this time, who like me, has been a long standing mezze-sceptic. Well done and thank you for a delicious lunch.

Amazing food and great service every time. We go back time after time, the lamb chops are simply incredible. When we have our annual uni friends get together we have guests visit from Australia, Manchester, St Albans and Norfolk, they always ask us to book a table here!

We visited on Saturday night so the restaurant was to full capacity. We were a family of 6 plus our 1yr. old grandson. Food, service, all very good. I would have given full 6 out of 6 had it just been a little quieter. It is nothing the restaurant can do to improve as it was the noise from the diners all enjoying lively conversation. We would certainly go back but maybe not ideal for the hard of hearing.

First time at this restaurant and will defo go back again and would recommend. Six of us went to celebrate my daughters birthday, we had a really lovely meal, everything tasted great and was nicely presented. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
