The beautiful city that is Edinburgh is not short of restaurants for picking up some fine Indian food, but, when making the choice, diners want to know they’re getting something special. Mughal Indian Restaurant, we are happy to report, offers something special. It’s a fantastic little curry house in the Old Town, set on Fountainbridge right in the midst of all the Edinburgh action. From the menu you can expect all of the classics as well as signatures and specialities that you may not have tried before. Some dishes you can’t afford to miss include the Jaipur chicken that’s fried with mushroom and special spices, as well as the hyderabadi gosht masala, lamb tikka cooked with mince meat, peas, butter, cream and plenty of coconut. If in Edinburgh, Mughal Indian Restaurant is a must. Reserve a table now.
Excellent fresh quality food. Their kebabs are generous portions. Food always is freshly done. Never had any issues from this place. Would whole heartedly recommend.
The chicken Korma was the best I’ve ever had. The service was excellent. We had to walk a bit in the rain, but the food was worth every raindrop.
