The food was very good with good choices. The whole experience was good. Would recommend to friends. Looking forward to going again. We shared a jug of sangria which was very good. The price was very reasonable considering how much we enjoyed it.
A new place for us but excellent food, good surroundings, friendly staff, good vslue for money - what's not to like? Our first visit, definitely won't be our last.
Great food and staff. One thing they can work on is speed of bringing drinks etc as at times was a little delayed. Great night though.
The food was perfectly cooked and had lots of great flavours. There was a lot of variety and it was fun to have many smaller sized meals instead of just one big meal. Loved it.
Very basic food. Better than the first time we visited but still not amazing. Feels like you're sitting in a shop and not a restaurant due to its layout. It's Had 2 chances, probs won't bother going again.
Food wonderful, service fanatstic. Portions quite large, ordered too much and had to leave some. My favourite was the Lancashire goats cheese with beetroot. We were a party of twelve going to the Theatre. We swapped and shared quite a lot. I shared ten dished with my two daughters, which was much too much. Looking forward to going again.
The food as always was exceptional as was the service. Our party had doubled from 6 to 12 and the staff were very accommodating and helpful to fit us in as they were fully booked. I'd recommend to anyone.
Staff very pleasant but almost embarrassed to serve the food (loose term) that comes from the (palm?) oil pan equipped kitchen ..... yuk, yuk , yuk !!!
Great food, great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone especially for a group night out! A good range of vegetarian options, which were value for money.
Excellent good and excellent service - it was the first time we has visited a tapas restaurant we asked for advise with regards to our order and the he staff we very helpful
Very nice afternoon meal and a good price, very nice staff and clean meat balls, prawns and squid. Good amount of food and only £10.00 per head.
Disappointed with the menu. Taken some of the great dishes of the menu. Shame used to be good. Now just average. Tapas style desert menu nended.
The food was nice and there was a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. It was a pleasant evening out, and we will almost certainly be visiting again.
Absolutely fantastic food! Great price, lovely atmosphere, yummy cocktails, great service, friendly and helpful staff, really really enjoyed this, will definitely be returning, I highly recommend mundos tapas!
Excellent food and a very good offer! Went on a wednesday so we took advantage of 6 tapas dishes and two glasses of wine for £20. There was plenty! The staff were friendly and polite too.
What a fabulous find! As someone with enough allergies and intolerances to fill an A4 piece of paper I was amazed at how much I could actually eat without asking for some of the ingredients to be substituted. And, to top it all, I was given a breakdown of what was in each tapas dish. Brilliant for anyone with a gluten and dairy intolerance. We had twelve dishes between three of us, plus a bottle of wine which in total came to about £75. A very reasonable price! There was plenty of choice but we especially liked the vegetable paella, lamb and pulled pork. We will definitely go back the next time we visit Preston.
The staff were very polite, the was a lot of choice on the menu and the dishes were of a decent size and very delicious. The restaurant and toilets were very clean and the overall experience would make me go back again
The food was fine as were the service and surroundings. It's a very convenient restaurant to eat at pre show if you are attending an event at the Guild Hall as we were
The food & mojitos were amazing 25 minute wait for the bill & to pay not so good Intending to revisit though! Calamari was outstanding!
Our table was originally booked for 7 that day changed to 10. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious I would happily come again with a big party and as a couple. Only thing that wasn't over impressed with was the flat bread as its not what I imagined it to be but still was tasty!
Food was cold and one set of meatballs were not cooked in the middle. Sent back to kitchen twice. Would probably not go back there again
Lovely food with good service , nice atmosphere and a good restaurant .
The food is delightful, the wine was reasonably priced. Nice friendly cheerful sta definitely worth a visit. Great for family & friends alike. Enjoy everyone
Very good, food excellent & the service was very good with pleasant staff. We have been before and will look forward to going back again before too long.
Amazing food lovely atmosphere quality service went the extra mile
Really nice food, good service, nice setting inside. It was just a little bit quiet, only about 4 other tables in (on a Friday 8:30).
Great food with lots of choices of dishes. Speedy service required as was a pre theatre meal. Managed ok but slightly slow bringing the bill. Would go again
Made a reservation and arrived before 6 prior to 7.30 theatre. Restaurant busy but no warning given of potential delay. The 4 of us shared a bottle of wine while waiting. At 6.30 we were advised that there was a 25-30 minute delay and would we accept a complimentary bottle of wine. We agreed, but stressed that we had a theatre appointment. At 6.45 I asked if we could at least have a basket of bread to stave off hunger pangs. Waitress arrived to explain that it was backed up in the kitchen and it was impossible to change the sequence of orders. At 6.55 I went to find the manager to request the cold platters we had ordered and cancel the hot tapas items. At 7.05 these duly arrived and we were assured there would be no charge for the food. Having bolted down the food (which was fine), we paid for just one bottle of wine and hurried out at 725 just in time. The staff were pleasant, but the place was totally disorganised. Not an experience to be repeated!
Food was great and we were lucky enough to get the fantastic opening deal! Staff were friendly and helpful and we'd definitely go back. Plenty of choice and surprisingly filling after seeing the portion sizes!
Booked a Pre theatre Friday eve meal for 2.. Very strange Mundo tapas menu choice (ought stick to Spanish). Not impressed with the A3 paper menus which double as table mats. House Red was poor quality so rather overpriced at £15.95. Biggest issue was with the food which arrived quickly but barely warm in quite cool dishes to be eaten off a cold preset plate. Portions were quite small even for tapas. Our 'Crispy' Potatoes were more like boiled ones, the Pork we sent back being far too cold to eat.. but rather than making sure the replacement was piping hot it came from the kitchen just the same!! Manager offered free desserts which we politely declined (we'd had enough disappointing food. The manager came over and told us she had taken 20% off the bill for us which we thought was a nice gesture until the waitress asked to see our theatre tickets as ALL theatre goers get a 10% - 20% discount (off the food cost only).. So our bill amounting to almost £38 was discounted by £4.35 !! Nice decor, staff polite but bad experience, wont be returning.
Food was amazing as usual with lots of choice! Service was ok but it took ages to be seated, well beyond the reservation time! Overall a good night out.
Food was excellent (best we have had there so far) - lovely menu. Staff extremely helpful with eating intolerances. Customer service very good. Excellent impression all round.
It was really good, however a couple of improvement points the restaurant lost our table reservation (for 8px, apparently an Internet glitch!) and food could of been a little warmer. Overall though a good evening and one we will all repeat.
Quick and easy format to use would definitely use this again, recovering an email to confirm your booking to give you piece of mind that it's gone through
The venue is nice but the food was a let down , nothing authentic , the chicken and chorizo paella was watery and processed chicken
Warm welcome, fantastic service, excellent food served and presented well . We will definitely return. A hidden gem in Preston !! Best pre - theatre food we have ever had .
We pretty much had the whole restaurant to ourself, the food was amazing and the service was great, people should go and defiantly try it!
Excellent value for money on a busy Thursday night before a concert at the Guild hall. Good service even though they were very busy. Recommended
Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Busy place with plenty of atmosphere and great food. Had the Thursday evening special. 6 tapas and a bottle of red wine for £20. Excellent value. Will definitely go again.
Think we arrived before our table had been set - no napkins, S&P pots on the seating. Food average - flatbread poor. Staff welcoming friendly.
