Steak and mussel restaurant was brilliant, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent! Me and my mate shared the 32oz tomahawk steak, it was cooked perfectly, but I think I could have eat it myself 😋😉

The food is impeccable and the team behind Mussel and Steak Bar have outdone themselves entirely. There are starters of grilled mussels with herb or teriyaki butter, oysters from the Scottish Shetlands and Scottish blue shell mussel pots with your choice of sauce (chilli, ginger, cumin and lime or Thai red curry), as well as a dazzling steak menu. All, we assure you, are cooked to perfection and matured for minimum of 38 days and served with all the trimmings, making this Edinburgh restaurant a carnivore and seafood lovers delight. We also highly recommend sampling the seafood platter, but you’ll find Mussel and Steak Bar in Old Town where booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
