A great tasty Indian. So polite, and extra complimentary dishes were great. A bonus to be able to take your own alcohol. Will return again.

The restaurant was welcoming and friendly. The owner was very reassuring and understanding that we were late for our reservation. The food was plentiful and excellent vallue for money. We were not rushed and had a very enjoyable dinner.

The delicious food, great service, and a few complimentary dishes made us feel like royalty! Will absolutely go here again when we are in Leicester!

Its a BYOB place so make sure you do because their selection is appalling. The restaurant decor, atmosphere, service is seriously under par. They have spent money on the restaurant sign looking nice from outside but inside its cramped, poor table and chairs, at one point one of the waiters grabbed a hoover and started hoovering through the restaurant, right when we were eating! Their kitchen seems to open onto the dining area and as such, the smell in the air was thick with spices and oil. It was so heavy, most of us were coughing throughout the night. We asked if we could sit somewhere else and so they moved us upstairs. FINALLY I get onto the food. The poppadoms were pumped full of oil, it was as if the make a big stack of the and the oil seeped down through all of them so that each bite coated your mouth in oil. The only okay dish was the chicken tikka. The lamb, and the vegetarian food was horrendous. The chicken curries all taste like they have open a tin of sweet and sour soup and dropped in 4 tiny chicken pieces!!! We sent back the curries each time and they brought a different one saying it was better, but rest assured it was not! Overall positives: Outside shop sign looks nice, the chicken tikka, the naan. Overall negatives: EVERYTHING ELSE! FELT WAS BACK IN THE 70s WHEN RESTAURANTS HAD ZERO STANDARDS! SHOCKED TO FIND THIS TYPE OF RESTAURANT IN LEICESTER OR ANYWHERE FOR THAT MATTER! THE STAFF HAD NO CLUE ABOUT THEIR OWN RESTAURANT OR MENU! DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH BUT I HOPE THEY CAN READ THIS REVIEW AND REALLY MAKE SOME DRASTIC OVERALL CHANGES!

The restaurant was very welcoming to me and my young family members. They had lovely food and were obviously a popular place. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would be happy to go back.

Great service, great food! Chicken Naga, super spicy and full of flavour - excellent! Complimentary popadoms & onion pakora, superb. Naan light & tasty. Only downside was very few (very small) prawns in Tandoori King Prawn starter. Highly recommended and would certainly return!

Met up with a group of friends as I had been before, as before the service was amazing and the food is exceptionally tasty, would highly recommend to anyone who likes Indian cuisine.

On arrival took along time to receive menus. Then when we actually placed order the starters we recieved were cold no apology was given. Then we waited a very long time for our mains with no explanation. Service was awful and definitely would never return to this establishment. Ruined a birthday meal and was very disappointed.

Had an excellent curry .very good fast service .very friendly staff and lots of food .well done ! Will definitely return next time we are in Leicester.

Our experience at the restaurant was 2nd to none. We had a medical emergency whilst we were there and the owner could not have been more helpful. He had one of his staff drive our friend to the nearest pharmacy, when discovering it was closed he then offered to drive to the hospital. Once we were sorted we had a fantastic meal with fantastic flavours. Customer service was absolutely excellent. Loved the free ice cream. Cost was more than reasonable. Highly recommended.

The outstanding feature of this Bangladeshi restaurant is the complimentary dishes that keep appearing. The second plus is the bill which represents incredibly good value. The staff are friendly, the service is good and the food is not only plentiful but also of good quality. We will be returning for sure.

Great restaurant - wonderful service with a smile, fabulous value for money and they throw in lots of freebies. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to going again soon. Parking was easy too.

The food was presented nicely and of a very high standard. The staff at Naawaz are extremely friendly and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere on a busy Thursday evening.
