Dining out doesn’t have to be about compromise. At the North Port Restaurant in Perth, you can get the taste and sophistication of refined haute cuisine, as well as a friendly, casual atmosphere where it’s easy to feel at home. If you got this food at home, though, you would never have reason to leave the house. The North Port Restaurant put on an exceptional spread of modern British cuisine, taking inspiration from tradition but also pushing new boundaries and championing unique local ingredients from nearby artisan growers, foragers, breeders and suppliers. The menu changes often in keeping with the seasons, and cured Troon mackerel with squid-ink mayo, oak-smoked Black Isle beef, confit carrot with walnut crumble, and a selection of prime Scottish cheeses are just a few teasers. It couldn’t be better located, right beside the Perth Concert Hall on North Port in the city centre, though it’s always wise to reserve in advance if you want to get in and out before the show!
WE always enjoy and ambiance of this restaurant. The locally sourced food and drink are excellent and the staff well attuned to their customers. A brilliant venue and the most reasonably priced menu in its class
North Port was great! Our party of three included a mostly-carnivore, a vegetarian and a person needing gluten free eating. We all had multiple choices, managed to find three courses we were very happy with, and all went away satisfied! Would happily go back again.
We had the most delicious dinner here. You can tell a lot of care had gone into making all the dishes. I also loved the cozy atmosphere and the service was excellent.
