Now, it is time to take a closer look at the delicious Italian-style food on Olivello Middlesbrough’s menu. To kick things off, we recommend ordering a few starters to share, which means you’re best off dining with friends who enjoy eating as much as you do. Trust us on that one! Some of our favourites at this town centre Italian restaurant include the signature aubergine fries served with garlic mayonnaise and the homemade chicken liver pate served with toasted bread and caramelised onion marmalade. Plus, what meal at Olivello restaurant is complete without the antipasti platter? This is a classic option brimming with a whole host of Italian cured meats, homemade toasted bread and a balsamic dressing.
Pizza fans will love Olivello Restaurant Middlesbrough’s menu as it’s got pizza options to beat the band. We love the frutti di mare topped with mixed seafood, rocket and cheese; the Olivello special that’s bursting with four cheeses and tonnes of meat or the ever delicious margarita. If you’re after pasta, keep an eye out for the puttanesca made with chilli, capers, olives and cherry tomatoes or tuck into the Ultimate Parmo topped with pepperoni, peppers, pulled pork and crispy bacon. Olivello Middlesbrough on Linthorpe Road in the town centre is one of the best around so book a table and discover it for yourself. Then, perhaps head to Harry’s Bar for a tipple to follow!
The staff provided an excellent service, were very friendly and the Sunday lunch was one of the best I hsve had in a long time. I will return soon.
Meal was excellent but disappointed that there was no happy hour menu just because it was bank holiday Monday for the people that work it is a time like that when we could of gone as a family and had that menu and some good English speaking staff woul help
Restaurant is brilliant food was amazing! Also the staff and atmosphere was great, definitely will be coming back again shortly Highley reccomend to anyone x
Extremely good food and service. I will definitely come back to the restaurant again. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and well priced
A beautfully finished restaurant which was very relaxed and cosy. It was busy but not overly full which meant the staff were very attentive and friendly. I eventually settled on Bruschetta to start and Cod Loin n Mussels on herby mash for main.....Brschetta was very pleasing if not spectacular but my main was divine, the Cod was pure white and fell apart, the mussels were sweet n fresh and the mash was absolutely beautiful. My wife passed on a starter and headed straight for a Chicken Pizza which she described as gorgeous. Only downside - they had no Caramac Cheesecake!! Still the Tiramisu which we both shared was by far the best I've ever tried......in short, an excellent restaurant with a definite return happening soon.
Easily the best fillet steak I’ve had in Middlesbrough in a restaurant , cooked perfectly , great atmosphere , really enjoyed the night , will be back very soon.
Great service and amazing food . Drinks came quickly as did the food . Afterwards was able to sit in the bar area and order more drinks
