While the name may suggest that this Harrow joint only serves up parathas – a type of Indian flatbread, Only Parathas is actually any Greater London vegetarian’s saviour, offering a whole range of delicious meat-free options. Of course you will find parathas, but also on the menu at Only Parathas is an abundance of Italian, Chinese, Lebanese and South Indian cuisine too. Basically, you will be spoiled for choice at this vegetarian restaurant on Streatfield Road, convenient to Queensbury tube station!
Super value and had no issues with the service. As a meat eater, I would go again as the veg options were tasty. Go and try it!
realy enjoyed it although the service was very slow maybe because of shortage of staff due to the new year holiday and there was one dish we ordered which they didin't have.
At Harrow’s Only Parathas the speciality is, of course, parathas – on the menu there are over thirty different choices! This Indian flatbread is perfect for lunchtime or a snack and comes in a range of vegetarian options like the tomato and paneer paratha. You will also find a selection of dosa as well as vegetarian Indian curries. If you don’t feel like Indian food have no fear because here you can indulge in some Italian pizza, or a Chinese dish like the Szechuan noodles or vegetable chow mein. This restaurant has one of Greater London’s biggest veggie selections.
Continuing with the international theme, there is an array of Lebanese options: how about some falafel and pita bread accompanied with some homemade hummus? The drinks menu is equally as varied with freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, and milkshakes as well as lassis, an Indian yogurt-based drink, and faludas, a cold beverage made from rose syrup, jelly, tapioca seeds and milk. Bringing meat-free cuisine from all corners of the globe to Harrow and the northwest London community, Only Parathas on Streatfield Road has something for everyone.
