OpusOne is a truly tranquil bar and restaurant set within Manchester’s gorgeous Radisson Blu Edwardian. This is everything a city centre venue should be, by which we mean an informal spot for lunch or afternoon tea by day and an elegant yet unpretentious spot for drinks and cocktails by night. OpusOne’s innovative menus consist of internationally-inspired main meals, bar bites, salads, desserts and wines, but whether you’re eating or drinking doesn’t really matter when it comes to being inspired by the majesty of the Free Trade Hall in which OpusOne is set. On Peter Street and complete with high ceiling and bespoke furniture, Opus One Bar and Restaurant is a real gem of Manchester.
It wasnt the best service compared to other 5* hotels. We were placed on a table in the corner of the restaurant and had to search for a waiter multiple times to get top ups. However, they did surprise the bride to be with a complementary cake.
Food was disappointing. Had to send a Pavlova back. The inside was so dense that I could not get a spoon through it. The rest of the meal was just okay but not up to the standard of many of the restaurants to be found near by,
