About Panas Restaurant

While it may be true that London is chock-full of incredible Indian restaurants, there’s nobody leading the pack quite like Panas Restaurant. This restaurant in Lewisham, close to Blackheath is the ideal spot to bring the entire family for some excellent Indian dishes made using authentic Indian ingredients. They offer a wide range of fine wines to compliment their many delicious South Asian delights, so be sure to ask your server for a recommendation or two. Sample from an array of special main courses like their choyola chicken, a Katmandu-style recipe made using mustard oil and traditional spices, the jhaneko masu (tandoor-cooked lamb with vegetables and dry spices) and of course, the classic butter chicken. Book ahead for a fantastic feast at this Lee High Road restaurant.

Good food, very generous portions. Reasonable selection for vegetarians. The waiters are very polite and attentive, perhaps a little too attentive - do I really need to be interrupted twice to be asked if everything is alright? A minor quibble though. Recommended restaurant.
