Panzo London is as aesthetically pleasing as it gets. Expert when it comes to presentation of all things pizza related, this Clerkenwell spot is Instagrammable without skimping on the taste and a must for all pizza lovers. While we’re firmly of the belief that pizza is life, there are other dishes on offer as well that are definitely worth a bite – think nonna’s lasagna and housemade meatballs. Located at Exmouth Market, Panzo is doing all the right things when it comes to serving quality Italian fare in London. So grab your pals, book a table and treat yourself!
So other than picture-perfect moments, what can you expect when dining at Panzo London? First and foremost is the passion that comes from the team. Creating, serving and eating pizza and Italian food is what this Clerkenwell crew does best and the results are up there with the best in town. You’ll want to begin at Panzo with a few starters to share to whet your appetite. The garlic and rosemary bread and a serve of green olives makes the perfect beginning to a night of decadent feasting. Paired with a spritz or two, of course.
Then, if you’re a traditional Italian lover, the lasagna is filled with slow-cooked beef and pork ragu, mozzarella and parmigiano reggiano, while the Sicilian arancini balls filled with mushroom and mozzarella go down an absolute treat. Then there are the pizzas. At Panzo, you’ll find a selection including Easy V topped with pumpkin cream, aubergine, courgettes, roasted tomatoes, basil and salt-cured Sicilian ricotta; Mikey featuring homemade tomato and basil sauce, mozzarella, onions, fennel-infused salami and black olives, and St Paolo loaded with gorgonzola cream, roast mushrooms and truffle oil. With plenty more besides, including the famous tiramisu, you’re best off booking a table at Panzo London and trying it for yourself. Located on Exmouth Market in Clerkenwell, be sure to arrive very, very hungry indeed.
Great service, very hospitable and accommodating. Will definitely be returning due to these aspects. The pizza are amazing. Great quality and if one wants they could watch the process. The oven is an original pizza oven (from what I could see) and the pizzas were cooked perfectly. Overall an amazing dining experience.
I think the best pizza in LDN. All the ingredients are really fresh. I had the truffle oil pizza and it was amazing. Would also definitely recommend their Margherita. Really worth visiting
Great atmosphere and delicious food. Really good service and especially loved the festive charcoaled black dough for Hallowe’en! Will definitely be back again. 10/10 Yum
