My first visit post Covid. Warm welcome and excellent food. Attentive service. Front door could do with a draft excluder or a self-closing mechanism: we kept getting a blast of cold air! Overall a very enjoyable experience.

The service was really slow and the food very average, seafood was overcooked and rubbery. Such a pity as the venue really is lovely

Service was very poor, very slow, mains got given to the wrong table and no one noticed so we had a 35 minute wait between starters being cleared and mains arriving, no apology! Coffees got forgotten, did get an apology about the coffees and an offer of free limoncello but seeing as one of us wasn't drinking it was a bit of a hollow gesture! Food was ok, not good enough to make up for the poor service.

A child's birthday party was intrusive but that is a problem with the parents letting their kids run around - and they needed to because the parents/grown-ups sat for a long time, way beyond 2-3 year olds attention time. Food was interesting and all home cooked - which affects waiting times. Tiramisalu to die for, swordfish with breadcrumbs interesting rather than enthralling.
