The staff are very attentive and the food was delicious. We went for lunch with our 5 yr old -- a little pricey for a weekend lunch.
Food was nicely presented, flavoursome, fresh. However I thought it a little expensive, especially the desserts and herbal teas (herbal teas @ £4.95) Service okay. Decor quite nice. Restaurant was quite stuffy and hot.
The location of the restaurant is great. On arrival the greeting was lovely however the menu is very pricy and the taste is not worth the price! Our waitress kept on forgetting our request for a sauce and lots of escuses about being 'too busy'. The staffing system was unorganised... The staff were getting told off infront of the customers. Overall: I wouldn't recommend it.
The food was excellent. The restaurant was very busy but the service was still very good. We were group of 11 and I would definitely recommend the restaurant for any group bookings. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great too.
Great food, great service and great cocktails. Loved the green Thai curry and chicken satay. Thai Pims was also very good. Will be back soon
Very good food, but didn't have the ice cream we wanted for desert which is why I've given 4 and not 5. Great restaurant for Hampstead.
Excellent food and great customer service would recommend this restaurant Manager is very nice and attentive to all customers I live locally and will be visiting again soon
The service was friendly with the right amount of attention, not too much to distract from the experience but still available if you needed anything. Food was amazing and arrived promptly. Great experience!
service was good, attractive premises but food average and expensive. WoulD not rush back as far better and cheaper such places around. a disappointing experience.
Really Lovely restaurant, Really good atmosphere, lovely food all fresh and amazing taste and flavour and the staff were lovely and friendly, worth going for great Thai Food
Food tasty but service slow.. Wouldn't like to be there on a noisy lunch time as all hard surfaces bounce noise around. Would give it another chance
Lovely space and the lunch menu offered excellent options at a variety of price points. The food was, as with Patara, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
Great food. Not cheap but excellent service Atmospheric and lots of nice touches like beautiful plates and substantial and colourful menus A welcome addition to hampsteads restaurants
I first went to Patari for lunch last week and was delighted with the restaurant and the reasonably priced lunch menu. On the strength of this took a friend there for dinner and was little disappointed. It was v busy but service was ok. The dinner menu I felt was somewhat overpriced. I had a mixed seafood dish with a very subtle curry base which was exquisite, but my friends beef with coconut was dull and the meat a little tough. I would go back but I think only for lunch.
Excellent food, friendly staff. Very very understaffed, so very very very slowwwww service. Hopefully will ramp up staffing as they continue to do well. Decent start...
Quality of the dishes was ok. We have found it a bit over priced! We had tastier food in different Thai restaurants for much less! Service was good and quick. Highlight for us is the soya nudles with vegies and the chicken Thai soup chefs signature dish.
great food and service. requested to be moved away from the door as it was cold, and once we were in the cosy section at the back, had a great time. very happy.
The food was outstanding, I had the scallops which were outstanding and the duck in chilli to follow which was full of flavour, the Chianti wine was beautiful and the service was top class. looking forward to returning again
Great food and service. Not happy with the table but staff tried to make up with a glass of bubly for not being able to accommodate our request.
Service was average, food was really nothing special - in fact, the vegetables were really lacking in flavour. Disappointed, as I've been to the other Pataras and they were better. Too expensive for what you get.
Service fairly slow, some staff need more training, food good, we found it a little noisy but overall we had an enjoyable experience and will return.
Great Service, with a good quality and varied menu that is set with a nice overall atmosphere and a short walk from Hampstead underground station.
Good food, good service, our waiter was fantastic and took good care of us. They have a good selection of snacks to get started and the mains were done nicely. But this place offers fine dining and the price tag is on the high side.
They refused the bottle of wine. Food was good. We got only 2 micro glasses. At first we had to convince them to honor the deal at all.
Quite expensive for what it was - I have had cheaper Thai food which is just as good! Food is still nice but rather expensive.
The menu has changed and is small, hardly any options for mains and the portion sizes were tiny! £15 for a prawn curry and I got 3 prawns in it! No, no, no Patara, what have you done? Ruined one of the best Thai restaurants in London to scrimp on costs! Even the waitress was complaining about your new hideous uniforms! Time to go back to the old menu, service and uniforms. You cannot keep this up especially at the prices you charge!
Nice evening. Food was good but not exceptional. Rice paper rolls & squid were the best. Nice unoaked chardonnay. Service a little slow but you could see they were trying hard.
The food is excellent without fault. Very tasty and great presentation. Service slow and erratic - did not reflect the price or quality of the food
