The food was very disappointing, very small roast with one thin bit of fatty meat

It was easy to book and quick to get seated. The food was lovely as usual.

We felt very welcome by the friendly staff. The atmosphere was lovely on a Friday evening. The food was delicious. I would recommend the Barn burger and fish and chips (lovely light batter). The price was very reasonable. Overall I would come back again!

Nice lunch at very reasonable prices. Very friendly and welcoming. Dogs allowed.

We have visited here on a number of occasions and like it for sunday lunch especially. The staff are friendly and the carvery is very good with a good choice. Surprised that they only do coffee and not tea after meals.

Beer wine gin, all excellent. Burger great, fish and chips good, and seafood platter ok.

Sunday carvery really not great, meat was tasteless, vegetables had been out a while and peas were like bullets. Not a great experience

Nice setting and food was lovely, staff very attentive. We went as two young lasses having a catch up and some early tea and were very outnumbered, it’s certainly a ‘local lads after work’ kinda place, which isn’t a problem, the atmosphere just wasn’t what we were after 😊 would recommend though.

Excellent lunch, with the extra little touch of giving the Mothers a beautiful plant. Your restaurant/bar has turned into an excellent venue and we are proud to call it our local.

Enjoyed our visit and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was good and deserved the rating as given (5). Food would have been (6). Overall a very good visit.

Lovely looking venue, very friendly, polite and eager to please staff. Good carvey meat options but let down by lack of crispness on the roast potatoes, roast parsnips and Yorkshire’s. Dessert however was excellent quality.

Lovely traditional meal in a friendly, relaxing environment. Loved watching the ducks and moorhen s. Welcoming staff and good sized portions. Definitely recommend this place.
