Located inside the former Marrickville Post Office that opened in 1891, Post Cafe still retains the building's charm, with original features like the wooden floors, high ceilings and stunning arched windows. These days, the building still serves as a meeting point for the local community, serving up modern Australian cuisine with breakfast and lunch options both available. Start your day off with some buttermilk flapjacks, the lambs fry brekkie, some eggs benedict, or build your own breakfast. At lunchtime, tuck into favourites like the lamb kafta, grilled halloumi burger and smoked salmon salad. Whatever you go for, we’re sure you’ll be delighted with your choice – just remember to book in advance to guarantee a table at Sydney’s Post Cafe.
Delicious brunch and good coffee. Welcoming atmosphere, we had a comfy side booth and it wasn't too noisy. Prompt service. 3 of us had a yummy slice of cake from the display too.
Great food great service. Make sure you check out the specials. All day breakfast is defintely a hit. My coffee was a little bitter but thats my only complaint
Were a group of 8 and they allow you to pay separately which we appreciated. Overall good experience. Will definitely go back again and suggest to friends.
