Absolutely fantastic evening, food spot on coupled with great service.

Lovely meal, all well, just had to move as we were originally given a table which received an icy blast every time the door opened!

A very pleasant visit to The Purple Pakora, Poynton. The service was good, food good, a good table near the window and pleasant, subdued, music playing. Not a criticism, because it is a matter of personal taste, but my 'two chilli' dish was a little under-spiced for my taste, I will choose a 'three chilli' dish when we go again, which we definitely will.

The Service is always good and really tasty food very enjoyable

Really enjoyed the food but the service was poor. Waited an age for drinks. One starter came and the second half an hour later after the waiter had said "oh I'll get yourother starter" three times as he passed! We gave our drink order twice to two waiters but asked for our bill in the end as we'd finished our food by then.

Excellent food as always, service 10/10 and even did my Dad a little birthday gift at the end of our meal. Attention to detail spot on.. best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been too! Highly recommend.

We waited 1hr 20mins for food after ordering. We asked where our food was after over an hour had passed and were brought plates, the food finally arrived about 10-15mins after that. Sauce for half Of the meals was forgotten so we had to wait again for that to arrive. This was my first visit and I have left disappointed.

Great restaurant, we've been going for years and it's always first class. Service from Ash and the staff is brilliant, nothings too much trouble. The food is always very good with an extensive menu and servings are generous. Parking in Poynton is very easy - and free! We highly recommend the Purple Pakora and will be going again and again.
