Set in the heart of the picturesque and trendy suburb of Ilkley, on the outskirts of Leeds, Quinta Bar & Grill is a restaurant which continues to grow and grow in reputation. Mediterranean food is its forte, with a menu inspired by Italian, Spanish and French flavours, and of course an emphasis on great steaks and fresh fish. It couldn’t be easier to reach – just yards from Ilkley train station on Wells Road – so you’ve no excuse not to book a table now.
The food of the Mediterranean is well-known and well-loved by the people of West Yorkshire. We’ve all been to that part of the world – whether it be Faliraki, Lloret, Magaluf or any of the other high-quality holiday destinations enjoyed by Brits – and experienced the Mediterranean diet first hand. Leeds foodies will be happy to know then, that they can have a taste of the Med in Ilkley, in the form of Quinta Bar & Grill on Wells Road, just a short walk from Ilkley station, where they can sample the delights of the region without ever leaving Yorkshire.
The Mediterranean menu is packed with fruits of the mer, and when the mer in question is the Med, you can be sure the quality is high. Lobster ravioli, piri-piri grilled prawns and grilled mackerel are just some of the options, and they are accompanied by their land-lubbing cousins in the form of crispy pork belly, chicken and tarragon mousse and a wide range of superb steaks. Quinta in Ilkley is just dipping a toe in the waters of the Med, but it continues to delight the diners of Leeds: book a table now to experience it for yourself.
Our experience, as always, has been fabulous. The food, wine and service have been excellent. Diego and his staff are efficient but friendly. The beef wellington and all the fish dishes are highly recommended - we’ll be returning very soon.
Excellent food, freshly made, tasty. Great variety of dishes. Nice contemporary bistro style presentation. Restaurant manager friendly and waitress very polite. We will definitely return.
A delicious treat of taste food, right on the doorstep. A cheaper early bird available, but irresistible temptations on the a la carte/specials menus, meant a pricier meal, but well worth it. Staff attentive and friendly, great shame that more tables were not filled.
