Rajput is an authentic Indian restaurant located on Upper Newtownards Road in Strandtown, Belfast. They have an extremely wide range of choice on their menu, with something for literally everyone - be they vegetarian, gluten free, health conscious or just looking for a hefty feed. Due to the Indian tradition of cooking with gram flour (chickpea flour), over three quarters of the menu is completely gluten free – ensuring that any coeliacs can eat without having to worry about sneaky gluten being in their meal. Rajput’s customer service is second to none, with their friendly staff creating an amazing, relaxed atmosphere for all diners. We recommend ordering their Indian tapas to share at the start of your meal - the pakoras are out of this world!
Class meal with great Service and staff. Flavours were great and there was a lovely buzz about the restaurant Wound definitely go back Gillian. Belfast
Excellent service and food on a very busy evening. I couldn't recommmend this restaurant enough. Additionally, it is a BYO but there is an off-licence situated just across the road.
I took the family here on a Friday night. We had very nice food and the staff were very friendly. Overall a very good experience. We would defintely go back.
The menu choice was great, the food was excellent and the service was very good. It was also very reasonably priced. We had a very enjoyable evening.
Love the Rajput in Ballyhackamore - always a treat. Great food, (my fav's the chicken shashlik), friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere - we'll be back again soon!
Food was lovely.service was a bit too quick- poppadoms disappeared before we were done with them! Thought it a bit overpriced compared to other local indian places, would still go again though!
Although we had prebooked a table none had been prepared. Service was extremely friendly and efficient. The food was good , tasty but the sauce didn’t seem freshly made. Nevertheless we would still recommend it.
