Very good service and lovely staff. We went on a sunday and it wasn't very busy at all. They had just had a small kitchen fire so the menu is smaller than it was before but still the food was lovely. Abit too small portions for the tapas part of the menu but the money you pay is reasonable. The main meals are a decent size. Overall i had a lovely birthday at the red mantra!
Great food ! Good place to take family/friends for a lively evening. Only disappointment was that the service was slow at times but friendly staff !
Nice venue with friendly waiting staff - menu choices were limited but what they did serve was well prepared and tasted delicious for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Good choice of music but very quiet for a saturday night - if I was going to go back it would be on a Friday. All in all a nice informal friendly place to eat.
Food was good, however service wasn't as speedy as we would have liked to be. In Red Mantra's defence, we were informed that there was only one chef present so food may take longer than usual. Great for watching a game, but the atmosphere wasn't as cosy as we hoped. Would definitely come back though!
Booked for a group meal and was pleasantly surprised. Had a wonderful evening with great food. Service was decent enough during the meal but had to wait almost an hour for my take away order after the meal even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Seems like they forgot I even ordered it until I started to ask about it after waiting 20 minutes. Shame. Despite this I would definitely recommend Red Mantra and will be booking for the next group meal.
Lively restaurant. A bit noisy though as we intended to have a conversation and it was difficult to chat. Food and drink were good and service attentive.
