Great place. Food was lovely, staff were lovely and it didn't cost the earth. Couldn't ask for better.Would recommend to anyone who likes tasty Thai food.

Very reasonable prices, lots of choice on the menu. The service was very good, and free prawn crackers were served straight away while we made our choices. The food was tasty and nicely served. Quiet Eastern background music. Cannot understand why we were the only people there initially, though it was Sunday lunchtime - a bit more buzz from other diners would have made the experience even better.

The food and service are excellent. The best Thai food ever. The staff were attentive, friendly and polite. However the restaurant really does need updating.

We arrived lunchtime to find this restaurant was under new management, and that we were the first customers to eat there (and that they were unaware of our booking as I suspect they don't use Quandoo). We were initially disappointed to find that the lunchtime set menu offered on the website (under the old management) was not available - however, we had a main dish each (Duck with tamarind, and chicken Pad Thai) which were really lovely. We were given complimentary prawn crackers, and as first customers a complimentary drink each. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They said the had run a restaurant elsewhere, and had a chef that was experienced and cooked the food in an authentic Thai fashion.

Arrived 7.15, received starters within 20 minutes but by 8.45, the main course still hadn't arrived and we were told that there were still two tables ahead of us to be served. This was ridiculous so we decided to leave. They cancelled our main course order with the kitchen and still charged us the full bill for the starters and drinks without any offer of compensation and without any notieceable manager on the premises (just three very young looking waiters), to offer an apology, so it was impossible to really complain at anyone. I understand it was a busy Saturday evening, but it should not take over an hour to cook just four Thai dishes. The food was very good last time but this experience has left me not wanting to come back again.

A very enjoyable and reasonably priced meal with good-sized portions. I chose it as it serves Tamarind Duck and I was not disappointed. A pleasure to go to a restaurant that doesn't have loud music blaring out. We were surprised that it was not busier on a Saturday night, but the fact it was fireworks night might have had something to do with it, also its slightly out of the way location. Will definitely go again.

Rice Terrace was in a convenient location as we live in New Barnet. The food was alright but I've had a better Thai meal in a kosher restaurant in Golders Green to be honest.

Food was great, particularly the fishcake on the starter platter and the Bangkok duck. The service was supremely indifferent, they didn't check my reservation, althoughit was a quiet Monday.

Food lovely and fresh, good value for money. Would definitely go there again. Menu offers a good selection for vegetarians and meat/fish eaters alike so everyone was happy!!

We had not been to Rice Garden before. The service was ok. Food was really bad. Rubbery fishcakes, bad quality meat. I wouldn't go back.

Great food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere where you feel relaxed and comfortable. Will definitely go again soon and would happily recommend to others.

The food was very fresh with good choice for vegetarians. The staff were very sweet and friendly and it was a lovely evening which was a very reasonable price as well. Good place to go if you actually want to talk to the people you're with as well as it wasn't too noisy so you could hear each other without a struggle!! well worth a visit.

Lovely food and fantastic service as always. There is also a great selection on the menu and the staff are happy to adapt dishes to suit customer.

Excellent service. A very extensive and varied menu and the food was very tasty. Good level of choice for vegetarians.
