Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food and good value. The portion sizes were very generous, the 3 course meal is fantastic value, includes coffee as well.

eveything on the night was excellent, food, environment etc, the only thing that let it down a little was the slow start to the service. Although that may have been because we were a party of eleven. Not a great problem and we will definitely be making the restaurant one of our favourite evenings out.

Great food and excellent service in comfortable surroundings. This was my second visit to Il Capriccio in Ewell Village and I shall certainly be going again.

I would highly recommend Il Cappricio in Ewell Village. Lunch set menu is great value at about £17 for a 3 course meal which includes tea or coffee. Go and enjoy it.

Food excellent, Ambience friendly, but service a little slow. The only criticism we had was a tambourine being brandished at our table collecting for the guitar and accordion players who came in and played about twenty minutes.

Don't know how many times we have been here - but as usual the staff were brilliant and the food fantastic - best restaurant ever

The ambience of the restaurant is welcoming and the staff patient and attentive. The food is excellent and affordable, and, with such a varied menu, choice is easy. The location of the restaurant makes parking difficult, but this has no reflection on the restaurant itself. We shall certainly go to Il Capriccio again and will recommend friends to do so too.

Have been going here for 30 plus years. In the past the service was an issue. This time the food was an issue. A pleasant experience but not wonderful. However the service now is very good and welcoming

Excellent prices and very efficient service. Highly recommended for a night out. The menu is varied to suit every taste, including lots of vegetarian options.

Service was a little slow and inattentive, considering the few clients dining at the time. The food was well prepared and of good quality, so we were overall content with our meal. It was a pity the background music kept being interrupted and eventually turned off, as it lent a little atmosphere to the occasion. The decor was charming, including paintings of the local area.

Lovely meal in a great atmosphere; the staff were efficient and polite and we were well looked after. we would definitely return to this restaurant.

Even though when we arrived the restaurant was not overly busy, i found that the staff were friendly, the service was good and you were not rushed and above all the food was excellent.

Superb food and service, staff were really good and attentive, my husband had the steak and his knife slipped though, very good size meals, great value for money and was not expensive

Had not been to the restaurant for 13 years! The food was ok but not the best Italian food in Ewell. I liked being able to buy half bottles of House Wine & Grappa was excellent. Probably will not go again for another 13 years!!

Excellent food and choice. Lovely table and chairs for comfortable sitting. Beautiful day so the pull back windows were open so the restaurant was very airy. Very reasonable bill too.

Lovely restaurant superb food which was clearly freshly cooked. Pleasant staff with great value for money. Just a pity the service was a bit slow, although it would not stop us from going back again.

Excellent food served by attentive staff who didn't rush you to finish your meal. The set dinner menu was extensive and very reasonably priced. My only small criticism is the portion size - slightly too large for me but that is an opinion that will vary from person to person.

The food was really good,tables were too close together, and we had to ask to be moved from original seat, staff had no personality and very scruffy looking, I wouldn't go back

A really good venue. The staff were attentive and courteous. We decided to eat from the set menu as this seemed to be good value. All our food was excellent and it was lovely to be able to select your desert from the chilled display cabinet. A really enjoyable evening.

At Ristorante Il Capriccio there is always a warm welcome The food is delicious, and the price is reasonable. My friends and I had a lovely lunch on Sunday. The restaurant was full, and waiters were still very attentive. If you haven't visited yet, call them up now. They get booked up quickly. Well worth a visit

We have been to Il Capriccio many times over a lot of years . It continues to give excellent service and provide food which is of the highest quality . Our visit yesterday 18th May was as good as ever . We eat from the fixed price evening menu . The pasta starter and prawn cocktail were very good . the main courses of veal and trout were very tasty and well cooked . The deserts left nothing to be desired and to finish with coffee just made the meal At a fixed price of £17.95 was excellent value for money

Lovely restaurant. Quite busy even for a week day. Food was excellent but staff a little distant and distracted. Had to ask 3 times for some water.

It was wonderful to rediscover this restaurant with its friendly service and excellent selection of tasty dishes that offers a very good valued set lunch.

Went as a family of four. All of us ordered from the starter and main. The food looked and tasted superb. Everyone agreed that their food was lovely. We will definitely be going back.

i was disappointed as i have been there several times over the years although it has been revamped and looks nice i was not impressed with the attitude of some of the waiters i felt that they really didn't want to be there. they got our order wrong as they didnt listen to us when they took it then having to wait a while for the correct meal to be prepared they didnt come back to us and apologise at all so i dont think i will be going here again very soon
