A hidden gem just off Kensington High Street serving delicious food and exceptional hospitality. Fabulous house wine too. Can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you
Great food & great service. Will definitely be going back here again. I can recommend the calzone for any pizza lover although be warned it’s huge and very filling.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Like being home and always a treat to go to Romano's. the Silvas, Romano and Angela, treat you like family from start to finish.
A very enjoyable Valentines Day meal. Made very welcome, and the minestrone, lasagne and risotto were top class.....as was the red wine!!!!! We will return....
This is the my favourite Italian restaurant in Notting Hill, London. Pasta and pizza the owner of the restaurant, Romano, cooks are full of Italian flavour. There are also choices of good wine. This time, me and my girlfriend had a half bottle of house white wine but fruity and very tasty. For our starter, we had calamari, which had crispy butter courting. Then, as main course, tomato-based sea food pasta and pizza. These were so yummy that we were just eating without talking. For our dessert, we had home-made tilamis, which had just right sweetness and creamy. Although a waitress made us hurry to order food, which made me feel uncomfortable, I can still highly recommend you this wonderful Italian restaurant.
Have been a patron of Romano's for years and no visit to London would ever be complete without several meals there. They always treat you like family and serve you wonderful food made from fresh ingredients cooked that day. You won't be disappointed!
Simply splendid - wonderful food, great menu, lovely staff. There is no room for improvement here as it's perfect. The red wine is a must, and this restaurant is a gem enhancing Kensington Church Street - Indeed, a great find.
There is always a warm welcome from a family run restaurant and nothing is too much trouble. Very child friendly and perfect for a pre-theatre or after theatre meal. The food is freshly prepared and needless to say, amazing.
Great authentic traditional Italian cuisine. Well crafted wine list. Friendly service led by Romano himself. Kensington has few restaurants like this left. It provides a real sense of community: it was striking that most patrons were local regulars.
As always, very nice staff and good food at very reasonable prices. We have been visiting this restaurant since 1991, and although it has changed ownership a couple of times since then, it has never disappointed us.
