About Royal Standard Cocktail Bar and Restaurant

Royal Standard Cocktail Bar and Restaurant is a sometimes rare London spot where food and drink come together in perfect harmony. The list of classic cocktails here is irresistible, much like the wine selection and craft beers. The bar is so well-stocked that you’ll have no trouble finding something to pair with your food, which ranges from pan-fried fillet of sea bass to mixed sharing boards of halloumi, roasted peppers and much more. You’ll find Royal Standard on Sale Place in the heart of Paddington, a very short walk from Paddington station and a great bar and restaurant for whatever your casual occasion might be. A very nice venue that is quickly becoming our local place for after work drinks. Newly refurbished, it has a nice décor with nice music and plenty of available seats. It is not a massive place which makes it inviting and cosy without feeling cramped. All staff are very helpful. The cocktails are delicious and the food on offer very yummy - lots of nice sharing platters that go handy with your tipple. If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy few drinks and actually have a proper conversation without shouting over each other due to the venue being loud - this is a place to visit.
