More about 7 Steps Pudsey, Leeds

Well well well, what do we have here? We were already excited enough about Seven Steps Pudsey opening up its brilliant bar to the good people of Pudsey and greater Leeds, who have taken to their cool interior design, charming staff, creative cocktails and well-stocked back bar like thirsty camels. But now we have food to fuss over on Chapeltown too! That’s just not fair. Especially when Seven Steps Pudsey have gone way beyond what culinary creations could be expected from even the flashiest of gastropubs.

Seven Steps Pudsey have employed the experienced services and passion of head chef Joe, who has been pumping out instant masterpieces better befitting the Leeds Art Gallery than a Chapeltown dive bar. Thankfully, though, the latter is where they stay. But the exquisite presentation is just a prelude to the main event - taste. Chef Joe’s creations range from classic to avant-garde, from dainty and delicate to rich and robust, from local traditions to international imports. But they all have something in common - they taste amazing! You can be sure that Seven Steps Pudsey will quickly rise the ranks of notable eateries, so book a table now and beat the rush!

Every time I come here I am never disappointed. This time is was for Hen Day with my sisters and Mum. We had my nephew with has too and although there is no specific children's menu instead they offer a small portions of the adults meals or a starter which my nephew loved. We all really enjoyed our food and the Cocktails were also delicious!

Steak night. Steak was cooled to perfection - just as I ordered. The only downside was the room was a little bit cold and it got rather noisy. We will be back.

The only problem I could find with this place was the trek to the loo. That apart, absolutely wonderful. Great food, great service, great price, great atmosphere. We come to Shrewsbury a few times a year to see relatives and have never found anywhere to come even close to this. No more searching around - we shall be back here without any hesitation.

Good atmosphere with friendly and entertaining staff serving drinks from a great choice of beers and cocktails. The Thursday night tapas menu was a mix of popular dishes like Patatas Bravas, Calamari, albondigas and melted Brie which were all to my taste and highly recommended. Good beer, good food and a good atmosphere...what's not to like?

Fantastic cocktails- offered 2 for 1 before 8pm on saturday - some that I hadn't come across before. Treated ourselves to a steak which was tasty, just as asked for and came with delicious duck fat cooked chips and salad. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Great atmosphere. Definetly book as gets busy.

Food was very nice and well presented with a reasonably varied menu. The staff are friendly, polite and attentive. Our meal was on a Saturday night and the restaurant has a busy bar attached, which can be a little noisy however this did not spoil our evening at all. We will most definitely have a return visit.

First time at the Tapas Night at 7 Steps but go plenty on a Saturday night for cocktails. thoroughly enjoyed the Tapas night as it was my husband's birthday. Meal was lovely and filling. Would definitely go again and can recommend to anyone to try. Good value for money

Very good food and wine (and the beer is excellent too) and friendly efficient service. Great value. Just a bit too loud to have much of a conversation, but it is the festive season after all. Well worth a visit.
