The food and service were excellent, however our family meal was overshadowed by a raucous loud party on the next table. Conversation amongst us was impossible. Better acoustics in the restaurant would have allowed for everyone to have the evening they paid handsomely for. I would be hesitant about returning to this establishment.

Shish is our local. It is really welcoming and we go for good food and friendly service at very reasonable prices. It's particularly good for us as one of us is vegan and they have some really tasty vegan options on the menu. The only problem is that the portions are so generous that we rarely have room for dessert!

This is our second visit, the food was good but got overcharged on both visits for drinks, staff didn’t even apologise for mistakes. Then overcharge on the card, so will not be coming back...

Shish was understaffed on a very busy night 14th Feb. Waiting time was too long but the staff on duty were very pleasant, helpful and apologetic. I'd definitely go back but perhaps not on a known busy time. Good was excellent!

Food excellent service excellent will definitely be going again soon. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who like Turkish/ Greek style food. Not expensive good value for money

Excellent food and good value for the money paid. Pretty popular considering we are in January. Decor was undergoing some renovation, a few wires on show behind bare wallls, but nothing major. Only thing against a perfect score is that they could do with 1 more team member. The guys there were clearly new and with the number of bums on seats, seemed to be over stretched

This place always offers Great food, great portions and great service. Table by the door was a little draughty now and then but a very enjoyable meal.

Food was OK but service was poor. Sat for 20 mins and had to ask twice just to get a drinks menu. Then waited another 15 mins for our drinks.

Good food and wine at very reasonable prices coupled with attentive service. I am not sure what they do to the rice but it is particularly good.

Really friendly, food was amazing as always and despite being the busiest night of the year, they were brilliant This is our third new year at Shish and we will be back

The food was really tasty. I gave it a four as felt that food that was ordered as take away was taking priority over the food orders in the restaurant and we did have to wait.

Poor service Poor food Never going back! Our drinks took more then half an hour to come and food took 1 hour and a half at this point we haf enough and was so hungry once the food came its was awful hardly any food there very stingy with there portions specially for the price you pay. Disappointed!

Booked for my daughters 18th birthday meal on a Wednesday night. The waitress was on her own and doing everything other than cook the food! Food was lovely, although the lamb was a bit chewy, this was mentioned and the waitress explained that they had changed the supplier and it was already being addressed. I had taken a cake and asked if the waitress could light the candles - she said I can do better. The lights were dimmed and she played a Turkish version of happy birthday- a very nice touch that hugely embarrassed our daughter! We had a lovely time, great atmosphere & great food. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and return!

Firstly let me say that the food was absolutely fine, the restaurant was nice enough. Unfortunately the service let the place down. All the waitresses seemed very nice, just not very attentive to their customers tables. Our mains were brought out before our starters were cleared away, once finished with our main dish, after 20+ mins we had to call the waitress over to clear the table. We had to call her back to order more drinks, then again for a dessert menu. It’s been a long time since I’ve not left a tip, just couldn’t warrant one here.

Food was excellent and waiters very attentive but as they were very busy we waited a long time for our food to be served. Would go back

Staff are excellent but we noticed the size of the meat potion were smaller and the salad had change type which doesn’t complement the meal. Plus the coffee machine was out of order. Normally we would rate Shish 5 out of 6.

Having previously visited sush I really enjoyed it. The service was great, very attentive staff and not too much time between courses. However, tonight service was very slow and given it was mid week and it didn't seem that busy to me. I have to say the food was delicious and even though we had asked for chips instead if rice, we ended up getting both - not sure if we paid extra for the chips! Will definitely visit again

excellent food and service and they cater for young children, what more can you want. we will go there again with all the family thank you

The food was good but due to a 50th birthday party the restaurant was very noisy and I think the staff were struggling a bit as we still had our starter plates left on the table when our main meals arrived. But overall we enjoy our meal

This is the Restaurant we chose for lowkey celebrations and we always have a good time. Hassan always works extremely hard to make sure everyone is happy and provides lovely service and the boys in the kitchen always cook up a storm. The food is amazing and anything you order will be fab

The food was excellent, really nice happy waiters and a great atmosphere. This was my first visit and definitely will go again. Dispite there being 16 of us plus 2 young children there was no waiting about to be served
