Located inside the No.12 Quality Street Hotel, Signals Bistro is equally as popular with East Lothian locals as it is with hotel guests, offering seasonal Scottish cuisine in a tranquil setting. Champions of local produce with a focus on market-fresh seafood, the menu features traditional British dishes as well as some international influences. Start your day off Scottish style with the traditional Scottish breakfast (bacon, sausage, haggis, black pudding, potato scone and tomato served with your choice of fried, scrambled or poached egg), try a bowl of some traditional cullen skink for lunch or feast on some Belhaven Best steak pie, North Sea haddock and chips or the haggis tower. The perfect way to start or end a day exploring the charming seaside town of North Berwick, you’ll find Signals Bistro on Quality Street in the town centre – book ahead to guarantee a table!
Good food and service (a little pricy in our view) and pleasant surroundings. The tables are somewhat close together so you feel a little bit crowded. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would go back.
Great food and service. If you get the chance to sit outside on a sunny day it makes the experience all the better as it is a sun trap!
Very welcoming staff, cosy atmosphere on a very cold day. Christmas decorations up and enjoyed the train going around. Great menu and very good food. Will go again.
