Had the Hake, lovely fish with excellent new pots and fine green beans. Food piping hot and staff very friendly and professional. Excellent value for money.

Not our first visit and not likely to be our last. The staff are all extremely pleasant and very efficient. The food is good, the wine is good and the ambience just right in providing a relaxed atmosphere. Certain parts of the restaurant possibly looking slightly tired. For casual dining this restaurant is spot on.

Great food , service, and atmosphere . Don’t normally have burgers but yours were amazing .Best ever .Hubby had Caesar’s salad with tons of chicken and the anchovies were lovely ( I ate them )😂😂.

Haven't used Simon's for an evening meal before but very impressed and we'll certainly be back. Ambiance, service, food all good but it did get a little noisy when it filled up.

My wife and I had a Sunday roast, everything was fine apart from the roast potatoes which were virtually cold. The table next to us experienced the same. They returned to the table with boiling hot potatoes which had clearly been deep fried. Not the memorable occasion you want from such a reputable establishment.

Always love visiting Simons at Oxfords and the food and service was great!! Unfortunately no specials on a Friday night!!

I asked for a variation to the chicken caesar salad and a plate came with the ingredients on but just laid on the plate looking pretty awful. It could have been produced in a bowl like the chicken caesar, if fact any thought having gone into it at all would have been nice! No apologies, no reduction on the bill, in fact we were charged £1 more than the chicken caesar. I will not be returning. It used to be very different in there. The chef needs to look at producing food the looks appealing and some thought into the menu.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Not the cheapest but probably the best is Southampton, so still value for money. Nice, friendly staff too.

Had the rib eye steak and tempura prawns which were delicious. Always top quality and service excellent.

Excellent food and service. It was very quiet (a wet Tuesday lunchtime in late September) so we had plenty of choice as to where to sit but there was consequently no "buzz". Otherwise, it was great.

Good menu choice. Lively atmosphere. Food very tasty. Love being able to order the 500ml carafes if wine.

We eat here out of choice if we are going to spend an evening out, to be fair and have never had any issues of the quality of food and or service.
