Amazing food, we both really enjoyed it Great for vegetarians as well as meat eaters! Also, absolutely lovely staff! Will definitely be going back 😊
Nice new restaurant in Leeds in which is very stylish and modern. Service was above average due to staff unaware of the january discounted menu and also saying that the main course did not come with fries when clearly stated on the menu it did. Would return but not in a rush
Not impressed at all, was in Leeds for my Birthday so booked this restaurant in advance it said 50% off main meals everyday throughout January so decided to give it a try. Was sat at the top of the stairs cold draught from the front door so put my coat back on. Bitter was undrinkable, service poor and the food has never seen authentic. After waiting for the bill for 20 mins asked again, we were charged full price couldn’t be bothered complaining just paid up and left will not be returning, this place will not survive in Leeds with so man6 good restaurants.
Starter came out in 59 seconds and were cleared away while I was still chewing. An hour passed and no mains had arrived so we complained. When we complained about the service they gave us no compensation.
Lovely decor. Waitress under-trained on menu and clueless to simple questions asked in regards to the food. Starters were excellent but I had the blackened cod as my main meal and it was undercooked & I couldn’t eat it. A real shame and the accompanying vegeatbales were lovely. Spoke to the manager who offered to replace it but the rest of my family had nearly finished their main courses by this point so I declined. The dish was knocked off the bill.
We received a very friendly welcome. Received great service and the food was Excellent eaten in great surroundings. We Would definitely revisit. Visited early lunch time Saturday.
Really good atmosphere. Nice drinks. Would like a couple more things on the menu though. Perfect place for friends/ groups for drinks or food. Y
Good service and nice food and reasonably priced. Not a sit down restaurant as it’s pretty noisy due to it being a bar too. Would recommend
On the whole we had a good meal. We didn't feel that their method is necessarily the best way of cooking steak, and their garlic bread was dry and stodgy. But this is just two points; everything else was very good and great service. We had 50% off so if I was paying full price I would probably be more picky. Will be back for another meal.
Lovely food, really decent portion sizes. The staff were really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. There was a great atmosphere and there was live music too!
Food was actually nice but waiting 1 hour for the main course after the starter was unacceptable then sides coming late for the main was big let down , Shame as the food was actually nice
Very much enjoyed the visit to Smokin’ Bar & Kitchen. Service great, food great so overall, great! Will recommend to friends and family to try and enjoy.
The food tasted amazing and the staff and service were second to none! We loved it and will definitely be going back. Highly recommend it!
The food was very dry - both the chicken wings for starters and the beef ribs for main. The burger was fine but nothing special.
Originally seated next to a door which meant it was freezing every time someone came or left. To be fair the waiter did move us. The food was good but i hsd to return my steak as it was very overdone and I ordered medium. The music was so loud we couldnt hear each other speak.
Had to ask for multiple food/drink items several times, and the ribs were dry. Staff were friendly but forgetful. We’re kind enough to give us free drinks as compensation though.
Very quiet so good service received - will come back again. Food was served quickly and was piping hot, waiter/waitresses were attentive too, not too expensive either.
Great decor & service. We went for some small plates and drinks before a night out. They were all very accommodating and good value for money! My only criticism would be it was a little drafts near the door where our table was - but that’s being extra picky
Nice enough venue but the food and service was not great. We had a simple order for two people - one starter, two mains, 2 drinks which should be easy right? The order was completely mixed up with things missing off one dish and added to another - they said they’d run out of Pinot Grigio at 2pm on a Saturday - no alternative to a brioche bun. waitress asked us how the food was and then proceeded to justify how she’d done everything right so the mistakes must be the kitchens fault - no apology or offer to rectify anything - portions were small and minimal - felt quite basic compared to other better venues ... it was pretty empty too when we arrived so no excuse that they were to busy etc ... a large group of lads arrived towards the end of our visit at which point it suddenly got quite rowdy and we couldn’t here each other speak ... Unlikely to go there again when there is so much choice in Leeds for a better experience
Oh dear we waiting so long for the wine to arrive at the table. The waiter did not understand what we were saying. The food we ordered was not available however the waiters didn’t know this at the time of ordering so we order some re-placements which came before the original order.the original order was delayed... it never got placed. .
Great food with good choice of beers and cocktails (spicy porn star martini was good), service needs to be better but it’s expected as it’s only just opened.
