Very nice atmosphere, nice staf and very good food! The Scottish kitchen in ‘haute cuisine’. A place to visit again, we’ll certainly gonna do it!

Warm, welcoming ambience with excellent food, wine and service. One of our favourite restaurants in Edinburgh. We always take our visitors and we celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary here with a private dinner.

Would definitely recommend. Excellent food, very friendly staff and extremely courteous management. We've been here 21 years ago and were still remembered. The food is fresh, local and nicely presented. Lovely atmosphere whether for a romantic dinner or a family night out. Also try their gin creations. Thank you for a lovely evening!

We had a fantastic meal here at Stac Polly - food was amazing! We went with our 2 year old and Roger and his staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely meal. Thanks again for a great dining experience.

We had a lovely time, food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Pleasantly surprised. Will definitely go back agin if we have the opportunity to do so. Even nicer it is a few steps away from where we are living. Only complaint a little expensive for the starters.

Delicious dishes and a Perfect Service. Try the innovative haggis as a starter! We has the lamb and the beef and enjoyed the stay a lot. Great staff was very kind and patient explaining the traditional dishes to us tourists. Good choice of wine, too!

The overall experience was very good the service was excellent the overall ambiance was great and the food was very good the only disappointment was the Haggis I took Chinese colleges along for a Scottish eating experience but was let down a little by this, Haggis in fellow pastry is not my idea of Scottish cuisine, please change your menu to include Haggis Tatties and Neeps. Stac Polly is one of the definitive dining experiences in Edinburgh! Incredible menu and drinks selection, the staff are wondrous, and the decor is perfect for an intimate meal for two and a corporate dinner to impress the very best clients and partners.
