Coming from Australia we were keen to try a decent steak in London. Luckily we booked as the place was packed. Interesting concept where you get the steak come out rare and it's up to you to cook it how much you want on the very hot stone that come out with the steak. Very expensive compared to the top quality steaks you can get in Sydney, but to be expected for such a touristy area. Still not good value for money. And be warned, every bit of your clothes will stink like the meal you just ate

Would prefer server to ask in the beginning that if it’s our first time eating here so he/ she can show us how to treat the steak when we eat, just a small thing as we were able to figure it out ourselves :D A bit too smoky the place, which made our clothes smell like steak xd but overall great food and wine

Amazing food, nice staff and fine wines. Been here multiple times and would go back again. We also like the possibility to "cook your own meat". It is recommended to book a table in advance as it tends to be quite busy. Only downside is the ventilation as you smell a lot like smoke/food by the time you leave. So it is not really recommended to continue your night without changing clothes first.

When we came in the restaurant was full but we had reservation and got the table right away. But the air inside was smokey and no ventilation. Everyone was cooking theirsteaks on a rock and when the restaurant is full it terrible. I ended up having my meal to go because there was no oxygen in there and if you have any respiratory problems don't go when it is full.

The food is lovely, steaks are so delicious, my only fault is that there isn't any proper ventilation, the grease from the steaks cooking at the tables made the floor very slippery and could be quite dangerous because you had to hold on to chairs when moving around

First time to this restaurant and certainly wont be the last, throughly enjoyed the whole experience of cooking our own steaks to the wonderful customer service,definitely recommend!

Been a few times now and took the kids yesterday, they loved it and cooking thier own food at the table was pure joy , they all loved it and want to come back again soon.

We went there for our Christmas work meal, after eventually finding the correct restaurant (I thought it was the one opposite Garrick theatre!) we had to wait a little while outside while the previous people finished, luckily it wasn't raining. However once inside our waiter was brilliant and the food was fab plus as our booking was 9.30 we weren't rushed.

An amazing experience. The chef was amazing. Coked the steak to how I wanted it. No complaints whatsoever.

Having experienced a hot rock steak before, my three colleagues hadn’t. They left in awe and thoroughly enjoying their meal. I was also pregnant so our waiter was very attentive with a separate plate. Very pleasant evening and highly recommended.
