Steak & Company - Garrick Street Covent Garden

We really enjoyed great food, with a lovely customer service and great ambient. I fully recommend it to anyone that wants to enjoy good food.

Great food but overly crowded layout. Another restaurant that focuses completely on, 'How many people can we get in here to maximise our profits?' The floor was covered in grease and incredibly slippery, this also applied to the tables and walls. Besides my mid review moan, the food was delicious and the hot stone idea is great!

Not great waiting outside even though we booked. good food but very squashed in. Accident with wine on shirt, they offered to clean it but it put a damper on a birthday celebration.

Really good food, one of the best,but.. the service was dire, lots of staff but not properly managed. We arrived at 6.30 but we didn't order till after 7, we had to ask twice for the wine list. When our white wine came it was at room temperature. The bread came after our first course!! Throughout the meal we were sat with empty wine glasses, service was slow between courses. After we had finished our meal and asked for the bill we had to ask again to get our remaining wine poured, still warm. We deleted the service charge, the waiter then started arguing with us!!

Lovely steak! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Quick food service even when the restaurant was full. Definitely value for money would 100% recommend to friends

Very busy with not a lot of room between tables. Very high noise levels made normal conversation difficult. The food made up for it.......fantastic fillets steaks. We took ours off the stone as soon as it arrived to stop it cooking and then cut chunks off and put them on the stone for a couple of seconds. The sauces and butter was great for putting on the stone and frying the chips on. No service charge added to the bill was unusual in these times but the service was good so we added a tip at the end. Good value, good food but a bit too loud and cramped. We would go back though.

Treated my mum for her birthday where we was shown to our seat from a lovely gent. Our waitress Jenny really made it a great first experience at this restaurant going above and beyond for us and showing us the ropes. Never been to a restaurant like it, great how you cook ur own steak, we will definitely recommend ! Thank you Jenny!

Staff were very friendly although not as attentive as expected. No complaints though.

Busy restaurants with good vibes. Food very good portion sizes and quality. Lots of choice. Would have liked some upselling and suggestions. Restaurant needs some softening of lights and maybe candles to give it a premium feel. Floor had just been waxed and so slippery! Served by Adrian. He was happy and charming

Nice the way the steaks are presented with a hot plate to cook to your own taste. Salad and chips bit disappointing to say the least

Visited for my husbands birthday. He had the ribeye, I had fillet steak. Both steaks were amazing, the chips were more like fries but other than that great meal and staff were great, highly recommend

on arrival we were totally ignored by the waitress and when after 8 minutes I asked if we could be served a drink it was as if it was too much trouble there were only 4 other people in the restaurant! As far as I know in catering the mantra was always meet great seat get a drink and customers will be happy,unfortunately the lady in question has not heard of this!!
