Among the many top-flight Italian restaurants in London, Stuzzico’s reputation is secure thanks to over 14 years experience tickling the tastebuds of Connaught Village, St George’s Fields and Hyde Park locals, fans of quality Italian cuisine from across the city and beyond. Operated by Neapolitan Luca Riccio and Puglian head chef Franco de Todaro, Stuzzico’s Kendal Street address is highly sought after by those wishing to reserve a slice of authentic Italy in west London. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are covered by the menu, with all dishes using fresh and seasonal and organic produce and free-range meat, poultry and eggs. Dishes like the beef fillet tagliata with rocket and Parmesan, the fillet of turbot with clams and sprouting broccoli, or perhaps the best parmigiana di melanzane you’re likely to encounter are all the encouragement you need to make this hidden Hyde Park gem your own.
Well appointed restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. Food good, meat dishes better value than vegetarian. Really delicious desserts. Lovely for a special treat. People also just having coffee and a chat so a nice vibe.
Excellent as usual, our local Italian and friendly restaurant. Chef usually have one or two specials of the day with fresh ingredients. Went again on Tuesday (it was full) and will be going this Sunday!
The restaurant is small and cosy. The food, wine and service were all excellent. I thought it was also very good value for money. Would recommend.
As usual, we were very well looked after by Luca, owner and his capable assistant Davide. The chef patron Franco was there also and it is always a good sign when the owners are there day in day out to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant, both front of house and the kitchen. The restaurant was packed but the service was consistent and efficient. Food continued to be well prepared and tasty. Recommend anyone to try out this friendly local restaurant.
By far the best dining experience in London. Met two friends who were in town for the night. Stuzzico staff was attentive and friendly. One of the diners was vegan and the chef was able to offer a few suggestions which was a treat. The linguine with black truffle was divine. We three ladies stayed all for four hours enjoying our meal and the quiet intimate setting that meant we could hear each other speak without shouting. The price was affordable and the wine choices excellent. Definitely will go back.
It was a stunning meal for the three of us , outstanding Warm Octopus Starter and Carpaccio both enjoyed by my wife and daughter, the Scialatelli alla Bolognese was outstanding, my wife had the filler and my daughter had the Veal Speciality. We ended the meal with a Warm Chocolate Pudding - with three spoons , should have bought my own !!!! Service was outstanding , great to be able see the chefs at work in the kitchen. Would certainly go again!
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent wine. This was even though we were very late due to thunderstorms on our flight and and only 2 trains per hour on Heathrow Express. A very warm welcome awaits you in Stuzzico!!
Love the restaurant, the service was brilliant, the whole atmosphere was perfect, easy to talk and intimate, good setting and easy to get to. You get the sense that this is a family affair where they are really enthusiastic about the food and doing the best they can for each customer - nothing is too much trouble. The food was good but our only criticism was that there could have been a bit more choice. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
The opera singer was excellent, the selection of songs very good and the food superb, as usual. We take every opportunity to lunch or dine at Stuzzico.
Simply Sicily at its best in the heart of Central London. This is a restaurant where the food speaks for itself, and the waiting staff are both knowledgeable and helpful. It is hard to single out any one dish for special praise but the linguine with black truffle oil is simply superb!
