Tbilisi in London’s Highbury sets a high bar when it comes to flavourful and authentic Georgian cuisine. Whether you are already a lover of Georgian food or just excited to discover what all the fuss is about, you’re sure to find yourself at home at this restaurant. The wonderful relaxed atmosphere and exciting spices fill every dish with flavour, making for an unforgettable dining experience. If you want to enhance your experience even further, head to straight to this Holloway Road restaurant – on the last Saturday of every month, Tbilisi features live traditional Georgian music! Don’t let the modest exterior fool you, it won’t take long before you feel as though you’re on an adventure in Georgia without ever leaving Highbury.
Gorgeous wine, delicious food, very reasonable prices! Would definitely recommend Tbilisi. Ten of us ate, and we were served promptly and efficiently. Also, one of the rare places that gets the music just right!
Warm, friendly service. Our waitress looked after us very well, answering our questions about the food and drinks. The food is deliciously tempting, some similarities with other cultures cuisines, and should excite most palates. All in a little treasure of a restaurant. We will be returning if only to taste more of those fragrantly delicate meals. We recommend you book as Tblisi can be very, very busy.
Fantastic food. Having been to a couple of Georgian restaurants in London this is definitely my favourite. We were told that the chef/owner is a 65 year old Georgian lady who takes so much pride in her cooking that she tastes every dish herself to make sure it is perfect, and you can feel that in the balance and flavour of the food. Would highly recommend.
