Thai River

No Boddingtons available. We ordered prawn crackers and reminded the waitress twice only to be told there wasn't any available but noticed the table opposite received a bowl of crackers after we had asked. I had to chase our main meal and it was 9.45pm before it arrived. The chicken curry was very nice but the beef in black bean sauce was poor. We have eaten in the Thai River many times before and have always enjoyed the food and the service. On this occasion it was disappointing.

Please atmosphere with efficient service, the food was very nice as well

Absolutely lush, can’t fault the food or service. Nice to see mango sticky rice on the dessert menu nom nom nom . I don’t normally have dessert but just had to share one with my husband.

Absolutely love it here, Thai Green Curry is lush, I’m not very adventurous and get the same thing every time but my husband always tries different dishes, they never disappoint. Service was great and we were served very quickly. No waiting around. The staff were lovely.

I had Thai green curry which is my favourite and it always has plenty sauce ,never fails to impress . Food was served really quick but we had to ask for drinks. Overall a lovely experience.

Among the starters toong thong was delicious, but the dim sum wasn't upto the mark, not the proper balance of salt and spice. For the main course we had spicy basil which was awesome and a roast duck which was good as well.

Food fantastic with great service. Let down by general ambience; glaring brightly lit and Formica tables. I guess great for a takeaway but I wouldn’t rush back.
