Really enjoyed the food. We went for the skewers which were excellent. The Halloumi Cheese was my favourite. Big portions and excellent wine too. Lovely meal :D

I love this place. We went for my birthday as had been many times before. Fabulous menu, drinks, services. Truly a treat.

We had excellent meal at the Apartment. The fish and parmesan croquettes were very tasty and the lamb ball scewers were delicious as usual. Everyone in our group enjoyed the meal. The prices were very reasonable.

Lovely food and great service for our group of 7 ladies pre-theatre on a Saturday. Not many places do a fixed price menu on a Saturday.

Decent food, very good choice of wine. Lovely decor but I still prefer their sister restaurant "The Outsider" on George IV Bridge. In comparison The Apartment's menu had a more narrow selection and I found it difficult to choose what I wanted for a different reason to my visits at The Outsider, where I would be happy ordering anything from that menu. The staff were lovely and very helpful but with being sat at a table in the corner, I felt we didn't receive attention as often as perhaps we would have preferred. All in all, it was a good experience but maybe next time for lunch instead of a dinner for a special occasion. I think there are other places I prefer to eat in the city.

It is years since I've been to The Apartment and it used to have a reputation for its unfriendly service and being slightly up itself in how it explained its menu. Changed days. The service was friendly and helpful. The menu was interesting and very tasty. I had a starter of duck egg and white asparagus which was lovely but personally would have preferred a different sauce to aioli. The main course of gnocchi, capers and goats cheese curd was similarly too and was a huge portion (I gave it a good go). A very enjoyable evening.

We were looking for a special family dinner out to celebrate my husband's birthday and The Apartment did not disappoint. Everything about it - from the friendly welcome to the imaginative menu to the courteous service - set the scene perfectly. Our meals were excellent - perfectly presented and insanely delicious. We look forward to visiting again and sampling further menus throughout the year.

I chose to visit The Apartment on the recommendation of the guests I had with me and was not disappointed. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced and waiting staff very attentive and pleasant. Our evening was somewhat spoiled by a rather noisy group of young women at the next table making conversation difficult but not a lot you can do about that.

We had a lovely evening! Food and service were both excellent, and we weren't rushed to release the table - particularly appreciated on what was obviously a busy evening for you. Our only (minor) criticism would be that noise levels were high, although I had requested a quiet table, but we appreciate that there was something on at the King's. The Apartment is excellent value, and we'll certainly be back!

My son and I arrived at 5pm on a quiet Tuesday summer evening. Staff (the main man) was running around rearringing a few tables and chairs in preparation for the usual busy evening to come. Service was friendly and efficient as always. The menu is excellent but my son and I can't resist a good steak so once again the flat iron steaks (medium rare) topped the bill and for the fifth or sixth time in a row they were superb. Crusty bread and olives for starters and plenty of time to relax and enjoy a coffee to finish. Looking forward to our next visit and maybe one day I'll try something different.
