Established in 1984, The Ashmaan are masters when it comes to the art of Indian cooking, serving up Indian and Pakistani specialities from their stylish location on Linlithgow’s Mill Road. The place to go for an Indian meal with a bit of pizzaz, The Ashmaan’s sleek and modern setting provides the perfect back drop for a special family meal or an evening out with friends, while the extensive menu caters to all tastes and dietary requirements. To guarantee a table at The Ashmaan, making a reservation in advance is recommended.
Located on Mill Road, The Ashmaan is a favourite among Linlithgow curry lovers, winning over the hearts of even the most discerning diners with their gourmet Indian cuisine, all crafted from scratch from the freshest produce. We recommend beginning with some mouthwatering tandoori meats like the lamb tikka or seekh kebab, or whet your appetite with some old favourites like the garlic mushrooms or chicken pakora. No matter if you’re a meat lover or vegetarian, like your curry hot and spicy or prefer something a bit milder, you’re guaranteed to find the perfect option on the menu at The Ashmaan.
Some of our favourite dishes include the classic butter chicken, the kamalia masala (masala sauce with fresh mangoes and almond powder), the natari with prawns, fresh fried onions and green beans, and the South Indian garlic chilli. Whether its for a family meal, a romantic date, or to celebrate a special occasion with friends, The Ashmaan’s stylish and contemporary decor makes it one of the area’s most popular Indian restaurants, drawing in diners from all over West Lothian. Be sure to beat the crowds and book a table at this Linlithgow hotspot in advance!
Still the best Indian around after 34 years - family owned, relaxed atmosphere and BYOB makes it an enjoyable and relatively cheap night. Highly recommended 👍
Excellent food, great value. Accommodated family of 9 and service was superb. Bring your own booze witn no corkage charge and no service charge automatically added. Will definitely be back.
Food is always excellent and so are the staff. Only one comment would be i feel the price of the accompaniments for the poppadoms is a bit expensive.
