Great atmosphere, best steak I’ve ever had the staff were very helpful and friendly, no sense of being rushed at all even though it was busy booking is a Must. I will be back.
Excellent meals steak and lamb rump cooked to perfection. Service very good and prices were reasonable. A hidden gem with nice pub atmosphere will return very soon.
This is the second year running that we chose the Ashville for our Christmas work lunch. It did not disappoint. The food was wonderful and the service was great. Will certainly be returning!
Excellent service, great steak and a good choice of ale - what more could I ask for as a pre-match place to eat before the rugby?
We went on a Friday night and wondered how noisy this place would be, it was fine in the main part as there was a noisy group in the other section. The food was really good, we were not told was what not available so I couldn't have my original starter but the alternative soup was really nice as was the chicken burger. Others had the mussels, the Camembert, and the fish and chips which were all really nice. We will be recommending to friends and will be back again soon.
The Ashville wot can I say good choices of beers lagers ciders and wines. The owners are very friendly the atmosphere is very good . Customers are very friendly to each other would recommend a visit book before you go people turned away for not booking as they were fully booked book early
The Ashville is an excellent local pub with fantastic food and a really cosy atmosphere. Staff are always polite and welcoming - it's our favourite place for Sunday lunch. They have a great range of drinks, particularly ciders!
Stayed at The ASHVILLE overnight as we were going to a production at The Tobacco Factory. Great accommodation, arrived an hour and a quarter late due to Friday night traffic. Ashville had retained our dinner table for us, prompt and friendly service despite our lateness and only having 45mins to eat and get to the theatre. Delicious menu food excellent attentive and helpful. Nothing too much trouble thoroughly recommend it.
We went for Sunday lunch which we and our friends have enjoyed on several occasions; what makes this a good option for us is the excellent vegetarian roast dinner which is a rare find. Sadly I am all too used to being given the 'reheated lasagne' whilst heaped bowls of vegetables are given the meat eaters roasts! Incidentally, my meat eating friends rate it too.
Had a very pleasant evening at The Ashville. The food was excellent. Would have given 6 but service was a little slow - it was a quiet night in January so not many staff. Definitely will return.
