Food /welcome all very good Sweets slightly pricey for size

Excellent evening as usual and back in again on Friday evening...

First visit staff were very friendly and attentive, ambienance was very pleasant and the food was excellent there were four of us and we all had various tapas dishes. Started with a tomato chilli garlic bread, the dough was wafer thin and delicious.An excellent evening and no rushing you.

3rd visit now in the last few months so we must like it! As a new venture we continue to want it to do well and initial teething problems with waiting times and service are no longer an issue - these were all great on our 3rd visit! The atmosphere is so nice and we had a great night. Only improvement now is with the food (such a shame), would suggest limiting the menu and have the focus to make a few dishes really authentic and tasty. I've had three different meals now and all ok but not great. Staff are absolutely brilliant.

We have just moved to the area and we had an amazing experience from this fairly new restaurant! The portions to their mains are huge! Therefore great value for money! Presentation and service was outstanding also! Cannot wait to go again soon, highly recommend this restaurant for somewhere new! The menu is looted with an amazing variety of different dishes and there isn’t anyone that can’t eat here as there is option for everyone! Thankyou to the team there, see you again soon!

It was our first visit but won't be our last. The food is well prepared and the service is excellent. I'd reccomend you go with a big appetite as the portions are very generous.

Another visit to this fantastic restaurant this time for our daughters birthday. As usual the restaurant was very busy but this did not affect the quality of the food, which again was excellent, or the level of service

Slow start, waited for menu & drinks order to be taken but the food was tasty. Good selection at good prices. Nicely decorated, gives you a feeling of being on holiday!

Second visit in a month at the Bay Horse and there are lots of things we really like about this place and want it to do well, as it's so nice to have a Mediterranean on the door step. There are several teething issues at the moment that we hope get sorted out. Positives are great atmosphere and nice staff. Areas for improvement: we waited over an hour and a half between starter and main (when I looked around most tables were the same), a beer was taken from the table half full and the food was luke warm when it did arrive but we had waited so long didn't want to send it back. The food is good but not great, perhaps the menu should be smaller and then more focus could be on getting fewer dishes perfected. We will be back as we really want it to do well.

This was my first meal here. The tapas was excellent and the desserts platter and mango dish divine. I would recommend the venue for its ambiance and the very friendly staff a job well done

Our party of six really enjoyed our meal at the Bay Horse. Such good food, but more than that, fantastic hospitality from the lovely hosts!

Food was lovely and a really good range of varied food. Something for everyone. Very reasonable prices and brilliant to have such a nice new restaurant locally. Can definately recommend and I will be visiting again soon.

The food was average, over cooked. Our table was given away to someone else. Then we had to wait to be seated only to be moved 5 minutes later. The wrong food and drink was brought to our table several times. I only checked the bill properly when I got home and noticed I had been charged for drinks we didn't have. I contact them and still waiting for a reply. I definitely won't be returning to the restaurant.
