We enjoyed our Sunday lunch, but we had to wait a very long time for it to arrive! There were several tables which were empty when we arrived (we had booked for 1.30pm) and they were served well before us. Each time we asked when our lunch would arrive we were told they were just plating it up, but it wasn't ours! The waiter was doing his best as they were very busy, and he gave us our drinks free, which was a very nice gesture. The lunch itself was very nice, but my partner said the lamb did not taste of lamb. We are not sure if we will go there again, probably not.

Friendly and helpful staff and food tasty. Service a bit on the slow side. Good parking available at the rear of the building and nice view of the river, as we had a table at the front of the pub.

Lovely food, good service and nice ambiance - always a reliable choice whether weekday or weekends, outside area is lovely on warmer, dry evenings. It's a regular for us!

A very pleasant meal with friends . Always like the food sometimes the service can be off due to what I can expect is high staff turn over

Really nice environment, was lovely for Saturday lunch, not jammed, but good, busy atmosphere. Was lone female for a while, while waiting for friends who'd been delayed - but felt very comfortable. Very nice food and very accommodating chef; who made adjustments to help with restricted diet of one our party. Bar staff also very nice, friendly - loaned me phone as had forgotten mobile and was trying to contact others. Car Park was larger than I remember and is quite an asset as parking in the immediate location not easy - so car park a big plus. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will be returning.

Food fantastic. Service not quite as good as it was before the new management took over. Had to go to the bar to ask for our bill, because no staff were available.

Good friendly service and nice ambience but the meal was a little disappointing. The salmon was overcooked. However over all a good evening in a friendly pub

I can't fault the service or the staff, and the food was ok, verging on quite decent - but my problem arrived when the bill did. Simply, The Bell is too expensive for what it provides. It's good, solid pub food, but not the gastropub it wants to be - or its prices suggest. If our overall bill had been £20 cheaper, I'd have little hesitation in recommending it; but, as it was, it didn't come up to scratch.

Very high quality meal with great friendly service and the option to add service (which we did). A perfect window table that was completely level and did not shake due to ineven legs.

Vey enjoyable this time, only issue is there is a high staff turnover and so new staff can sometimes be over whelmed when it's busy

Really lovely been 3 times now don't live in the area but came across it 3 years ago after visiting Hampton court flower show. Each time it has been really lovely very welcoming, food very good and service 1st class. A great way to end a perfect day.

The food was good although the portions were not very generous but fine for us as two oldies. The staff were friendly and efficient though very busy but the dining room is almost devoid of soft furnishings and therefore noisy.

The interior of the pub is nice and bar staff were friendly. We were disappointed by the food - very uninspiring despite sounding great on the menu. Very little choice for non meat eaters and I ended up with a haloumi salad that I have to say was terrible - the haloumi was clearly just diced from the packet and I'd have hoped it would be at least grilled (which was how the haloumi on the starter menus was so clearly an option) and the salad was just a mass of leaves. I'd expected more for the price! Everyone else's food was deemed 'ok'. It's a nice venue for a family meal out but I woudn't necessarily recommend the food.

Really nice atmosphere, friendly staff. However, the food was only so-so. Maybe it was a bad selection - we ordered burgers and the kid got pasta.

I have been to The Bell Inn several times and I normally have a really good time, but today was disappointing. No salads or mains available from the menu. My ribs were not their usual 'fall off the bone' quality, but were instead very chewy. It took half an hour for the mains to appear and we did not get offered a dessert menu. All in all, not my best meal out and is making rethink going there again

This is my favourite pub in Hampton - you always get good service with smiling faces waiting to greet and serve you. The food is excellent and the beers are good too.

Good place for Friday night food with friends. Wide variety on the menu and good atmosphere in the pub. Particularly nice in the summer in the garden.

Booked A table for 2 on the same night England were playing Australia at rugby,so it was very quiet in the bar /restuarant where there was no TVs. No problem with the food ,very well presented, but a bit over priced. The service was questionable, we got the impression that they didn't really want to be there. Then had the 'front' to say service is not included on the bill ! We had the same drinks each all night , Peroni & a Wine Spritzer, £9.80 when I went to the bar. But when my wife went to get them ,£11.10. Only found this out after we left. If you do go to the Bell, don't go on a busy night ,I think the staff would struggle .

Great food, would recommend the baked camembert. There was live music the night we were there which was very good if just one notch too loud.
