We went for a family members birthday. Lovely tasty food, served hot from a varied menu. Plus nice choice of desserts and beers.

Disappointing. The food was rather bland and overcooked and the waiting times were long. To be fair, the restaurant was busy and they were short staffed but we had booked in advance so expected good service.

Plated food not hot enough. Sea Bream dish rather sparse on vegetables. Would have liked a choice of custard or cream with puddings.Relaxing atmosphere though.

Pub rang to rebook as there was a technical glitch, easily sorted, lovely atmosphere and good service, food was lovely, staff very patient with the 2 kids and the dog, so a lovely Sunday family lunch

Me and my wife spent the day and night at the bell inn,the food in the evening was the best we have had in a pub for a couple of years,the staff very pleasant and helpful,the bed was very comfortable and a quite night.

We've had a couple of recent let downs at food venues and so we were sceptical about coming (although we had been 5 years previous). You have definately restored my faith in eating out and having great food! Thank you :)

Friendly, attentive service from front of house server Freddie. Good choice of options gluten free. Sea bream particularly tasty. Pecan pudding, a nice alternative to sticky toffee.

Fish and chips were good, service was fine. Kids food served on boiling hot plates and with adult cutlery, the kids colouring books and pens etc could do with a refresh. The playground was quite basic. Overall we felt it was a bit pricey but had a nice meal.

This pub is the most amazing place for drinks and food. We love summertime here and we also love winter here. Just had an amazing Sunday roast and drinks. Food is beautiful and the staff are so attentive and assertive. We try and come every week.

It’s was for a Mothers Day lunch and I enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious, the Bell was incredibly popular and really packed but service didn’t suffer as a result. The gift of a little plant was a lovely idea! Thank you very much.

Superb food, friendly and welcoming staff, comfy and cosy pub. I have Coeliac disease and my husband has an egg allergy and they were so relaxed about it and didn’t make it a big thing - menu was clearly marked. Would thoroughly recommend and will be back!

Welcoming with good atmosphere. Food was a bit disappointing. Three of us had roast pork was quite tough and rather flavourless. Burger was good. Desserts - mixed.

Disappointed with the lunch, had to ask the music to be turned down, service friendly enough but not as good as I had expected. Overall menu was pretty average and the fish (bream dish) was small, vegetables half cooked, sauce . . . .hmmmm

Great food , great service and friendly staff well done

Staff were fantastic, I have twin 2 year olds and they had colouring available. High chairs were ready at the table. Even changed our drink, as a 2 year old changed his mind. Food was fantastic and was really quick to come out. We will be back!
