When it comes to UK country pubs, it doesn’t get much better than The Blue Bell Cider House. This handsome, 17th-century edifice rules the roost down Warings Green Road, close to the village of Earlswood, by the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal wending its way north to Birmingham, surrounded by farms and woodland. Hitch the barge, park the car or bike, and enjoy rustic, home-cooked British food alongside fantastic drinks, including vegan ale and cider brewed at the pub’s very own Blue Bell Brew House. Trying saying that one three times fast with a mouthful of roasted pork belly with Colcannon mash and cider gravy! As for the food, it’s classic pub grub taken up a notch, with hearty meals and grills bookended by a healthy-options menu, over-50s and kids’ menus, and, of course, a Sunday carvery. The Blue Bell is also a local hotspot for events and entertainment – keep your eyes peeled and your finger on the booking button.
It is a family place with great food. We went on Sunday, and we had Sunday roast. It wasn't our first time, but it was booking table by internet.
Great meal, good cider. Huge meals, but very tasty. I would recommend this for simple tasty home cooked meals, and a range of ciders to suit all pakates
Great food and drinks, very enjoyable time. Staff helpful and pleasant. There is some building work going on which will help make the place even better. Would recommend
