lovely friendly waitress. food was lovely and tasty, between us we had a pie, burger, lasagna and salad. the pudding was delish and they accommodated our request for extra custard.

It was a very busy night but the staff in the restaurant were very attentive and we were looked after very well. Great atmosphere, food and service, all you need for a night out with friends

Very good service from very friendly staff. All thee meals we had were very well cooked and really tasty. Well done everyone at the bowling green.

Overall we had a very good meal and the portions were reasonable sized for the price we paid although the kids fish was on the little side. I had vegetable lasagna with salad - the salad was fresh not like some places where you get limp lettuce and dried up tomato. I asked to change the garlic bread for chips which was not a problem.

Excellent and friendly folk here. And a very good menu with food prepp'd well and served timeously in a most convivial restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Good value for money with nicely cooked food, a wide selection of options and pleasant staff. This dining public house has maintained its reputation for the many years we have been using it.

The Bowling Green has a limited menu but food is well cooked and delicious. On occasions there are "specials" in addition to the menu. The restaurant was refurbished and expanded fairly recently and the new facility is well appointed with a pleasant ambience. The staff, many of whom are young, are very pleasant and efficient. Toilets were not forgotten in the reburbishment and they are of a much higher standard than the norm.

great service and good timing with a good menu choice. we are seated where it is a bit quieter. beer is good and wine reasonable price

Realy happy with both meal an the very helpful staff. They looked after our table an also accommodated extra people at very short notice. Will Definately go again.

Excellent food and always excellent service. The staff always make you so welcome and the food never disappoints. I recommend the Bowling Green to anyone looking for a great value meal in a lovely atmosphere with fantastic staff.

Enjoyed - food (steaks, fish and chips) and drink were great, price reasonable and service attentive would recommend for small groups or even larger ones!

Very nice with excellent staff, they were very accommodating and friendly. Food very nice however two things let them down for me, they promote home cooked food but when I asked if the mash potato was real potato I was told “no it’s not, it’s from a packet”. Mash potato is so easy and simple to make why would a nice pub/restaurant let it self down by using Smash! The second thing was the English mustard, good quality mustard can really compliment steak however Heinz sweet, mild sickly American type mustard can ruin it. Apart from these issues the Bowling green is lovely and well worth a visit.

A cosy haven on a bleak winter's day. Welcoming staff and good food. What could possibly go wrong. Don't tell the others though - let us keep this to ourselves.

The meal was excellent. The staff very helpful and friendly . We go every month and it is always good quality . there is always a friendly atmosphere.

Food and service was good but the restaurant was very cold. It happened to my sister before where people were sat in coats. I had taken my elderly parents and would not risk taking them again in winter time as my father was cold. Shame cos otherwise the food was excellent.

This is an excellent pub with a great restaurant. The staff are tops, friendly and efficient. Our thanks to Karen and Natalie for excellent service.

A really nice pub in Southam. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. The food was nice and there was a good choice.

Enjoyable meal, good choice of pub food on menu. Decor modern, clean, pleasant surroundings following refurbishment and restaurant extension. Convenient local eatery with plenty of parking spaces.

We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch but there wasn’t any heating on! And after 3 requests it still hadn’t been put on as we left? It was a chilly day so many of the diners, including us, ate with their coats on! Would have stayed for desserts but went home to warm up! End of October, is there a problem with the heating?

A late Sunday lunch, very busy but served quickly, food excellent as usual. Cant beat supporting local businesses that try hard to please. Staff very helpful and friendly!!!

An excellent experience, food was delivered piping hot , great choice of dishes, friendly & attentive waiting staff, who were happy to accommodate any requests etc.

Don't think we will be coming for a return visit in a hurry. Table was booked for 1pm and our order was not taken until at least 1.30pm. When eventually our food arrived one starter was missing with no attempt to ask if another was required just a free dessert which by the time we got through our main course we had no time for. As for the main course... the chicken was cooked way too much that it was dried out, and the burgers were very dry too. Definitely not impressed sorry to say.
