Brackenbury Wine Rooms has a perfect setting in a quite part of Hammersmith and is nicely decorated. They have a very good and fast service, delicious food and amazing wine.
Great service, fine food and an wide selection of wine from all over the world. I was very pleased with the vibe and the overall quality of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend it.
Wonderful neighbourhood restaurant. Service was spot on, relaxed, knowledgable and not stuffy. Interesting and different wines and lovely food - there is a beetroot gnocchi filled with goat's cheese which is a must try.
Food was satisfactory but absolutely nothing special, however service was good and their wine selection great, it had a nice relaxing setting however i consider the food to be very over-priced.
Stick with the straight forward dishes- tempura cod and chips/steak. I had the tuna and whilst fresh was pretty flavourless as a dish- needed a wasabi kick or something! Service very good and nice to be able to sit outside.
Food was really good and waiter (owner) was apologetic for 'sloppy service' that we hadn't even noticed, even comped us a side and removed service charge. 2nd visit for me and 1st for my 3 friends but we will all be back very soon...we need to try more wine!!!
The tapas and starter dishes are delicious. The main dishes were not good (the duck was tough, risotto was like porridge) Wine is excellent though
Food was delicious as were the drinks. The service was great with the staff very knowledgeable and helpful with the extensive wine menu. Would definitely recommend.
Disinterested and uninformed service. Starters: no comment Mains: fish portion very mean / dish poorly described by staff / meat undercooked. Pudding: excellent chocolate dish Wine: good
Some of the food was good. But the bread was old and tough. The service was mixed. The table was covered in crumbs when we arrived, and wasn't cleaned even after our plates were cleared.
The amospere of the place is lovely, and the concept of the wine 'on tap' is quite cool. The food was delicious, we had the salmon crab tartare and the cote de beuf for 2. However, while we thought we'd take advantage of the opportunity to try different wines, we tried about 5 of their red wines and didn't like any of them. I don't know if it's the way they are stored that distorts the flavours, or just their selection of wines that didn't match our taste. In general the wines were quite overpriced (especially the tasters and glasses), but we were disappointed by their quality more than the price. For a place that prides themselves for being a wine bar, probably a good idea to increase the variety of their reds and QC their wines after storage.
Nice buzzy atmosphere. Really good selection of wine. Good service. Only criticism: quite a long gap between courses & mains not that hot- yummy though!
Overall an excellent experience. Food was great, wine was amazing and Ollie and the team were outstanding. This was my first visit but will definitely not be my last!
