A diamond of a find absolutely beautiful food. You couldn't fault the quality of the service or the value for money will definitely be back
I certainly would not rush back. Service indifferent. My dining companion was singularly unimpressed with fish and chips which is not usually a dish testing culinary expertise. My salad, however, was totally acceptable. Crockery was trendy but impractical. on the whole, no thanks.
At The Broadsheet Bistro you could sit inside in the stylish dining room, or head outdoors to the small alfresco dining area and watch the bustle of Edinburgh’s Old Town go by around you as you tuck into some hearty Scottish cuisine. Begin your meal at The Broadsheet Bistro with some Scottish-influenced starters like the St. Giles haggis bon bons served with Arran mustard mayonnaise, Highland smoked mackerel and horseradish pate with capers or the homemade Scotch egg.
Then chow down on a gourmet burger like The Scotsman (a beef patty topped with haggis and served with fries) or a hearty pasta dish. Located on the historic Royal Mile down on St Giles Street, The Broadsheet Bistro is popular with city workers and tourists alike, attracting diners every day of the week to its Edinburgh Old Town location for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
