New Chef was not up to the Owner's expectation. Unfortunately this was our first visit, long wait, incorrect order and two lunches were not good. Every effort was made to correct this with a reduction of the bill which was fair. Our family lunch was not fun so we will not be returning.

Staff very friendly. Best pub roast potatoes I’ve had in a very long time, and beautifully cooked beef! My friend had the Thai red curry and wasn’t impressed, the rice was much more than "sticky", it was solid.

Slight delays, although we know you had problems and apologised. Lovely staff, the surroundings are looking a little tired, but we love coming to you.

We took friends new to East Sussex (Bexhill) and they enjoyed their experience of a venue new to them. We have always enjoyed our visits to The Bull. Fantastic Venison.

Great food for what is a very reasonable price. Chef obviously cares about the quality of what is served. Pub food standards but done with refinement and attention to detail.

Very average , lots of better places for sunday lunch eg one would think that the “ roast of the day “ would be something other than poly bagged turkey , expected fresh turkey was a bit disappointed , and Re cooked roast potatoes were like bricks !! One blob of a stuffing ball ! Neither tasty nor appetising , thankfully the pubs dog got a lot of it !! Best part was the home made vanilla ice cream Disappointing as was recommended

The Bull Inn is fantastic, I'd taken my 2 sons awaygor a few days and decided to finish the trip on a high and was not disappointed. There was a lovely atmosphere and welcome by the owners and the food was absolutely amazing, it was the perfect end to our holiday.

Acoustics need investigating as it was a very noisy room. There was no soft furnishings to absorb the chatter. Apart from that, it was a very pleasant experience. Roast beef lunch was very good with tasty gravy. Pity there was not a choice of roasts. Liked the old Labrador hovering around. She was a very special dog. Would visit again for sure.

A gentrified country village pub that oozes class whilst retaining its character. the bull a warm welcome, an excellent selection of local beers, an interesting and reasonably priced wine list and expertly prepared food from a thoughtful menu with plenty of choice and a delightful twist to every dish - think thyme in the chicken liver pate and marmalade ice cream with the tarte Tatum. The interior appears effortless but belies the thought that must have been put into the shabby chic meets farrow and ball meets Kentish hops feel to main bar and restaurant. Charming owners, a Gins of the week blackboard and magnums of Bordeaux in the bar attract a discerning clientele who enjoy the unobtrusive background jazz music . Thankfully no TVs, it fruit machines here ! The Bull is a gem.
