A family run pub and restaurant, The Catherine Wheel in Cirencester focuses on fresh and local ingredients to create some tasty classic British dishes. Sirloin steaks, whole Bibury trout or even a thai green curry are just some of the many main dishes on offer. There are smaller dishes like whitebait or deli boards for those with a smaller appetite. Being a pub, you’ll find a great selection of beers, ales and wine to accompany your meal. The interior is welcoming, but if the sun is shining, make sure to enjoy the outside garden. For great pub food in Cirencester, The Catherine Wheel on Arlington Row ticks all the boxes.

Great food, prompt service from great staff. Very filling meals
Great service and good food - was really good value for money Room could have been a bit warmer but it was a chilly day .
Popped in for dinner and a drink on a Thursday night. Lovely, well kept, pint of Doombar and my partner had a couple of glasses of an Ausi Sauv Blanc which she enjoyed. She also had the Veggie Lasagne, I the Hunters Chicken and we shared Olives and bread as a starter. Total cost was £50 (+10% tip) The menu was good, standard pub fare and the quantities substantial ... is that expensive in a small village that's on the major tourist through the Cotswolds? I think that's up to you to decide, in my opinion it's a bit high. The pub itself is externally a lovely old Cotswold building, inside it has been restored to create four rooms around a central bar, beams (some looking a bit fake) have been painted black, the walls white and the half-height panelling cotswold green. Space has been maximised, which in my view has resulted in a somewhat souless pub which is a great shame.
