Enjoyed our visit very much. Food and service both excellent. Wine very good and reasonably priced. Will go again.

Electrical problems in the kitchen when we arrived. Long story short the situation was resolved quickly and we were offered a drink while waiting. Food was excellent and front of house service and courtesy was wonderful. Great restaurant

My only critique would be the lack of ambience. The lighting is quite harsh and if softened would really warm up the room.

We had never been before to this restaurant and didnt really know what to expect but we were given a great welcome by the waitress who, for being on her own, was exceptionally experienced and was lovely to everyone who is in the restaurant. The food was wonderful and freshly cooked so waiting for it to come was not a problem at all. Relaxed and nice atmosphere and did not need too shout at each other to speak. Excellent will be back again.

We were delighted that there is such a good little restaurant in Largs. (We hadn't known about it before). Delightful service, interesting and beautifully presented food - and everything freshly prepared for us, which is exceptional. On top of which, the price was very reasonable. Will we be back? yes for sure!

The Chef’s Eye was a great find during our recent trip to Largs with our family and friends. We had a wonderful experience. The food is beautifully cooked and presented. Service is efficient and professional, while at the same time being friendly and warm. There is no rush with time to relinquish your table which we loved, and as a result there was time between courses to chat and allow each course to be digested. We definitely would go back and recommend to others without hesitation.

Service was good and food well presented however taste was rather bland . Personally I would have liked flavours to permeate the meat rather than relying on separate sauce

Very intimate and friendly restaurant. Shona, owner and front of house manager, is extremely professional, efficient and attentive. The food is delicious with a varied choice of vegetarian and meat dishes. Everything is cooked to order by Faisal and kitchen staff - owner and chef. Good selection of wines and other beverages. I would thoroughly recommend this first class restaurant. In fact I'm going back in March with four friends!!!!!

Excellent meal was first class. Will be back to try other things on menu as wanted everything on menu. Also service was fantastic. She went out her way for us.

This was the first time we visited the Chef’s Eye after reading rave reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was very nice and well presented. The seevice was excellent from Shona. Would definitely return.

Excellent food, freshly made to order. Great service and lovely peaceful atmosphere. Hand cut steaks were fantastic and really big. We we certainly be back.

I normally go out and have at least slight grumbles about a place. Absolutely none here, we both loved it. Will definitely be back again

First visit and love me the ambience of this well run restaurant. No other like it in the area. 2 staff - Chef And Waitress who was very professional in her approach to her various tasks. Made to feel welcome and I liked the the fact and that food was made to order so did not mind the wait. Downside, my meal was over cooked but received an apology and Chef offered to cook another steak without hesitation. Will return.

Really fantastic meal, would highly recommend the chefs eye. Quality of food and service here is without a doubt the best we have had in a long time. We were made to feel very welcome, and even met the chef Faisal, who is very passionate about quality food. Every course we had was just so amazing. We will be going back again hopefully soon. A lovely evening. A great but small (makes it much easier to choose!) choice of food perfectly prepared. Very clean, nice and quiet. Most enjoyable. Will most definitely return.

Would highly recommend this restaurant which is nicely decorated with excellent bathroom facilities which were spotless, always a good sign in my opinion. The food was very tasty, nicely presented and good portion sizes. The complimentary amouse bouche was a nice touch and tasty. Were one or two unusual dishes which is good as like to try something different. Very reasonable drinks prices and you can’t beat 3 courses for just under £18. You can chose one or two courses as well, priced accordingly. Give this restaurant a try, you won’t be disappointed, the service is excellent and you feel welcome. Will definitely be back!

First visit but very glad we went. The food was gorgeous and service had perfect balance between attentiveness and giving you the space to enjoy the lovely food. Loved it.

Fantastic meal, surprised by January offer of Starter or Dessert free with main course. This is easily the best Dining Experience in Largs, it should be booked up more! We will be back later in January, great value & staff brilliant!!
