The Chelsea Cellar hidden beneath Park Walk off the Fulham Road is an altogether welcoming experience. They’re one of the best Italian restaurants in Chelsea, and their chefs – Helio, Cleo and Gilberto – have contributed almost as much to the reputation of Italy in the West End as the likes of Zola, Ancelotti and Conte. Their menu is based on small plates of cicchetti, so you can make yourself a personalised taster menu: try classics like mushroom risotto, arancini and bruschetta, as well as other long-term family-favourites from whole platters of prosciutto, salami and bresaola to gnocchi, ravioli, calamari and even fillet steak. You can reach The Chelsea Cellar easily along the Fulham Road – making them perfect for a post-match after Stamford Bridge – and via Fulham Broadway or South Kensington tube, so book a table and head on over.
Lovely restaurant with great service. Food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Only negative was the waiter told my girlfriend she gets a birthday Boxing Day which now is a thing "apparently"
Chelsea Cellar is an excellent little local restaurant. Really friendly owners, delicious food and great wines. Perfect. The pigs cheeks were divine. All absolutely wonderful
Love it, we go there quite a lot. Really friendly owner run restaurant with a very good and unusual wine selection. Food is good too.
We had a very pleasant evening. The food was very good, including the selection of wine they have. The ambiance is great. We will definitely be back soon.
First time at The Chelsea Cellar and would highly recommend, the food was delicious, a very home cooked feel and great atmosphere, very cosy but a great feel to the place. We were there for a leaving do and felt like we had the place to ourselves, would definitely go back!
The friendliest and cosiest of restaurants. The food is simple and good - never too much or too little. Some excellent wines. The seats are comfortable and - rare these days - you don't have to shout to be heard. A relaxing place to have supper - alone or with friends - at a very reasonable price.
Great food, the beef ragu pappardelle was very tasty and went well with a really nice red wine from their Italian wine list. Not your typical Italian trattoria style at all, definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a place that's relaxing and comfortable to catch up with friends. Highly recommend.
Amazing hidden gem. Fantastic food and friendly service. Delicious wine. Tastefully decorated. Ideal if you are going to the cinema after as the Cineworld is just round the corner and our food was delivered very quickly.
Excellent food and wine, great atmosphere and a very attentive host. Be sure to ask for advice on the wine, as the list is interesting and complex but with some real gems for very reasonable prices.
What a lovely little restaurant. A very intimate setting. The food was delicious and the hosts were great and very knowledgeable about their list of Italian wines. Would heartily recommend and will definitely be going back.
